Celebrity Clicks #4 - Jennifer Aniston - Britney Spears

Jennifer Aniston grew up in New York. She is the daughter of Greek/American actor John Aniston (real name Yannis Anastassakis) and his first wife Nancy Dow, a New York actress. Mr Aniston is well known for his long-running role as Victor Kiriakis on the NBC daytime dramaDays of our Lives, which he originated in July 1985.

Dow and her daughter Jennifer Aniston became estranged for nearly a decade in 1999. Apparently Jen's mother talked about her famous daughter on a TV show. She also wrote a book titled From Mother and Daughter to Friends: A Memoir (1999). After Jennifer divorced Brad Pitt in 2005, there was a reconciliation between Jennifer and her mother.

The latest news reports indicate that Jennifer wants to move back to New York. She has been spotted looking at a $15 million West Village condominium apartment. Apparently she misses the city where she spent a lot of her childhood and attended acting school. There is nothing stopping the film and television star from making the move. She is single, independent and not strapped for cash.

Recently, Jennifer was interviewed on TV show Good Morning America. She said: "I've been looking and looking and looking. I grew up here (New York City). I miss it."

"There is nothing like being in the city that is just the city of Everyman. It's all walks of life - I love that!"
Aniston indicated in the interview that she woke up in the middle of the night in London. She couldn't sleep and came to the conclusion that she needed to simplify her life.
She also told the TV show host -

"I'm looking for little spots in New York City to go back home. There are all sorts of things that are going to be happening in the near future, so I'm excited. I don't know what they are, but that's the fun part."

Britney Spears has high flying hopes

Apparently Brit has very high flying ambitions - to master the art of trapeze. Perhaps she got the bug after her successful Circus world tour in 2009. She also reportedly wants to meet some dangerous, wild animals and "run with lions".

Now 29 and the mother of two growing boys, Sean Preston (5) and Jayden James (4), Britney tweeted a fan saying she is a "boring homebody" at heart. Well - Brit's ambitions sound achievable. It is also good to know she is more settled now than she was a few years ago when a storm of publicity seemed to surround her when she became involved in numerous wild antics.

It is great to see Britney in a more grown up phase of her life. Just like Nicole Richie, she seems to be taking her mothering role seriously and focusing on good parenting.
