David and Victoria Beckham - a girl at last

David and Victoria Beckham are reportedly "over the moon" at the confirmation they are expecting a baby girl. Already parents of three fine boys, Brooklyn (12), Romeo (8) and Cruz (6), the celebrity soccer player spilled the news at a fan luncheon in Los Angeles recently.

Here's what David had to say -

"Obviously, we're very lucky to be expecting again, and this is the first time I'm going to say it: It's a little girl," Beckham said, according to ESPN.

"We're still in shock. Obviously, having three boys, you kind of expect another one, so finding out a little girl is in there is surprising, but, obviously, we are over the moon," the 35-year-old England international added.
"Our three boys are happy and excited, and Victoria is doing well."

British newspaper The Sun reported in February that the high profile couple were expecting a girl. At that time, this was denied by Victoria, a former Spice Girl, who insisted she did not know the sex of the baby and would be happy with either gender.

No doubt a girl will be a very welcome addition to the family and with three older brothers, she is sure to have plenty of attention.

Victoria has made a name for herself in the fashion industry and the family seem to be well grounded, preferring to bring up their family as far away from the tabloids as possible.

Sacha Baron Cohen and wife Isla Fisher finally release baby girl #2's name

It is seven months since Isla Fisher, wife of Sacha Baron Cohen gave birth to a second daughter, sister to Olive, now aged three. The couple have at last released the name of their child - Elula Lottie Miriam Cohen - Elula being the Hebrew for August, the month in which she was born.

Speaking about why they decided to keep the name a secret Fisher told Elle Magazine: "With the name, I keep making jokes like, 'It's called Taliban Perez Baron Cohen'.

"I just feel my children didn't choose a career in the limelight and unfortunately, I get followed."

Fisher also revealed that being a Mum is her priority; "Motherhood is my favourite topic but I never talk about it publicly.

"As much as I love what I am doing, and I am so fortunate to have the opportunities that I have had, my responsibility is to my family."

Before moving to the US to pursue further career options, the Wedding Crashers and Confessions of a Shopaholic star had a buoyant acting career in Australia as one of the main characters in the popular, long running soap Home and Away.

Baron-Cohen and Fisher married in March 2010 when their first daughter was 2 years old. This occurred after Isla had completed her conversion to Judaism.

Speaking in the press about the couple's daughter Olive, Fisher said: "If she has as much fun and fulfillment as we're having, then she'll be a very lucky little girl."

Referring to Cohen's parenting skills, she said: "He's 10 out of 10, I'd say - and then some."

"He already makes Olive scream with laughter."

In these times of bad publicity for so many "stars", it is refreshing to write about two very positive and happy show-biz families and their new baby joy.
