Celebrities often have to whip their bodies into shape for movie roles. Stars Gwyneth Paltrow and Scarlett Johansson share their celebrity diet and exercise secrets with Instyle Magazine. According to Tracy Anderson, Gwyneth Paltrow's personal trainer, with the right exercises anyone can get a well-toned celebrity body. Here are some of the celebrity diet and exercise tricks that helped get Gwyneth and Scarlett in tiptop shape for their roles in the film Iron Man II.

Celebrity Diet Plan: Gwyneth Paltrow's "Pepper Potts" Diet

According to Gwyneth Paltrow before her role in Iron Man II, she had been enjoying a wonderful relaxed period without a strict diet. If you remember, Gwyneth Paltrow has been well known for following a stringent macrobiotic diet. Her "Pepper Potts" diet plan combined a detox diet with a mostly vegetarian meal plan. Gwyneth Paltrow would start each day with a cup of green tea followed by a breakfast of either a "Think Thin Bar" or a shake made of almond milk, blueberries, a scoop of Dr. Alejandro Junger's "Move" powder and a scoop of Dr. Alejandro Junger's "Nourish" powder. The powders are part of Dr. Junger's 3-week detox diet. The complete three-week detox program is available online for $350. Paltrow's other diet secrets include eating a diet of healthy staples such as fish, fruits, vegetables and brown rice. Her diet limits the amount of dairy and eliminates all processed foods.

Celebrity Workout Secrets: Gwyneth Paltrow's "Pepper Potts" Workout Plan

In order to get her body in tiptop shape to play Tony Stark's "Girl Friday", Pepper Potts, in Iron Man II, Gwyneth worked out daily with personal trainer, Tracy Anderson. Anderson claims that any woman can get a supermodel body but it is going to cost them a lot of hard work. Paltrow's workout regime included an hour of cardio combined with an hour of toning exercises six days a week. Celebrity trainer, Tracy Anderson has put her celebrity exercise workout on a series of DVD's for those who are interested in getting Gwyneth Paltrow's toned and thin body.

Celebrity Diet Secrets: How to Get Scarlett Johansson's Iron Man II Body

According to Instyle magazine, Scarlett Johansson enlisted the help of husband Ryan Reynolds's personal trainer, Bobby Strum in order to get "cat suit" ready for her role as superhero, Black Widow in the movie Iron Man II. Five months before filming Iron Man II, Strom put together a diet and exercise plan for the beautiful actress. Scarlett Johansson worked out for 90 minutes a day seven days a week. Her celebrity workout regimen included a mix up of cardio with kickboxing combined with stabilization exercises that incorporated resistance bands with a series of squats and lunges. Strum had her finish each exercise routine with fifteen minutes on the treadmill, alternating sprinting with jogging.

Scarlett's celebrity diet plan included eating three meals and two to three snacks each day. The meals consisted of healthy choices such as lean turkey, brown rice, steamed vegetables and salads. Her snacks included protein drinks, nonfat Greek yogurt, fresh fruit and almond butter. Strom had Scarlett avoid dairy products and simple carbohydrates.

Celebrities are fortunate to have the time and resources to enlist the help of personal trainers to whip them into shape when needed, but it is true that with hard work and the purchase a few celebrity trainer DVD's it is possible for us "non celebrities" to get a celebrity worthy toned body.
