The show began with the cast arriving at Boot Camp by bus. Shar and Kevin were surprised to see each other, with Shar being the most shocked of the two. Tanisha seemed to be the breakout star though as she wants to continue her bad girl behaviour and butt heads with Harvey the second the bus door opened. The two will surely be at odds the entire season but Harvey is used to it with Tocarra I'm sure. After getting some food the cast were once again told to return to the lineup. That took too long though so they had to run out, again. That led to Tanisha puking after five minutes of running. Wow this is going to be a long season. Harvey has gotten tougher this season it seems, maybe since he's doing Ant's job now too?
Their fast challenge was tackling the obstacle course with only two completely finishing it. Tanisha tried at least all the events which made Harvey proud while Shar had a tough fall, taking her out of the rest of the course but she learned to respect her team, and people as a whole, after the helped her complete the last event. Jay and Nicole were the only two to completely finish the course and climb the tower. Jay was emotional afterwards since his sister's boyfriend died while on a climbing trip and it made him feel closer to him then before. The first task was a tough one but hopefully at the end of the season all can get up the tower.
Their first dinner on the show really tested the fit clubbers. They had two options: grilled or fried chicken. Bobby was the only one to have the fried chicken along with a few glasses of beer. Dr. Ian Smith wasn't happy with him but he said that he wasn't there to condemn them for their choices since they have to make them. He then brought out a cake to tempt the cast. Tanisha was tempted to eat a slice but after learning she'd gain back the calories she burned off at the obstacle course her mind changed. Even though she really did want to eat a slice of Harvey's cake as his face was basically the icing.
The night wasn't over though as the group had a drum circle with Def Leopard drummer Rick Allen. He told them how he got up and kept going after losing his arm and playing the bongos really inspired the others to reclaim a positive life. Kevin's mindset changed because of it and at PT the next morning he went from being his teams dead weight to really impressing Harvey. The crew had to go through several tests to see how they do over the season and following their workout Rhoda pulled Shar aside to discuss her relationship with Kevin. She broke down, but in a somewhat happy way if that's possible, and spilled to the camera. She is right though, she's basically been a tabloid star ever since Britney and Kevin started dating and wants people to see her for the works she's done, not something her ex-husband did to her.
With that elephant out of the room it was time for the weigh in. Jay, Tanisha, Kevin and Sebastian had the highest weight with Tanisha having almost 50% body fat. The others, such as Nicole, were their to regain their figure which I think is ok with the show as its "fit" club, not Celebrity Lose Weight club. Well they do lose weight, you get the point. Overall it seems this is a strong cast and has potential to somewhat revitalize the show.
