Celebrity Gossip Blog Dlisted

Be Very Afraid - You Might Become Addicted

TulipCat
Michael K started this amusing celebrity gossip blog in January 2005. I only discovered it a few months ago. When you go to his site Dlisted.com you will see the header Dlisted - Be Very Afraid. I wasn't sure what that meant exactly. Was it the contents I should be afraid of? Was it the photos? What was it?
Now I know. The answer for me is to be afraid, because you might become addicted to Dlisted. I don't know about you, but I certainly don't need another addiction.

What is so different about Dlisted ?

Michael K.
Think of it this way. Do you like a certain late nite talk show because of one host over another? That's how I view why this is the best blog out there.
He just doesn't report the gossip. He includes his own comments that are witty, amusing and not always PG-13. He puts his personality into his reporting, and it's a big, dynamic and adorable one.

Another difference I noticed with Dlisted from other more established celebrity blogs out there is the contributions from others. The other addicts often blog in the comment section. While many other blogs have this feature, none compare to Dlisted. The comments from other addicts can be as fun as the gossip itself.
Other blogs I've read mostly have either nice or mean comments. On Dlisted, it's a nice balance, plus useful information about the topic posted.

What to expect when you visit Dlisted?

Expect the unexpected. Sure, you will get the current celebrity gossip, but much more.
If you read celebrity gossip for entertainment value, you Will surely be entertained with even more than just celebrity gossip.
First, the name, Dlisted suggests that this is not just your regular gossip site. It's downright obscure at times. No one who ever was in the media eye is safe from Dlisted.

Some daily features

Birthday Sluts. Go to any other site and they will list only the big names or a few favorite old-timers. Not on Dlisted. Any one who was ever anybody is listed. Memories of forgotten celebs, who knew they were still alive or that old?

Hot Slut of the Day. More than often this is someone who is not in the news. More than often this is someone I never even heard of. Sometimes, it's not even a person. For example, Stewie Griffin from The Family Guy was honored one day. It's all in good fun.

Caption This. A picture is posted for the readers to caption. Mind you, this is no ordinary picture. Where Michael K finds these pictures for this daily feature is beyond me. Many are truly weird.

Afternoon Crumbs. This is all gossip and nothing but gossip. It's always linked to other sites, giving credit where credit is due. This is one-stop shopping for celebrity gossip in one place - Dlisted.

A few other features

I will list a few other tag-lines used and archived in Dlisted that you could look forward to.
*Meth Faces
*Photoshop Awards
*Tranny Mess
*Then and Now
