Celebrity Home Videos: A Best of Internet Collection of Free Online Videos

The Hollywood Celebrity Home Videos series by Michael Wechsler and Terry Keefe is one of the more imaginative video series created for the web in recent years. Although Celebrity Home Videos is a relatively recent creation, with only a few webisodes available, each installment offers fun and laughs with some real intelligence behind the humor.

The series spoofs Hollywood celebrities, famous television series and well-known movies. Two of the Celebrity Home Videos episodes available on the web are both funny and pretty well-acted, a rare combination found online. I wish there were more episodes available, but for now we'll have to make do with these videos available on YouTube and Google Video.

The Lost Audition Tapes of Robert De Niro
If you are a fan of the original Star Wars trilogy, then you may want to check out this short film. Straight from the Lucasfilm archives comes Robert De Niro's lost audition tape for the role of Luke Skywalker.

This video does contain strong language, after all, this is Robert De Niro we're talking about here. So if you are offended by curse words be forewarned.

Young Robert De Niro looks strangely like a young Robert Duvall - but if you can get over that, the video is pretty funny.

Young Seinfeld
Seinfeld may have gone off the air - except of course in syndication, but you have the opportunity to watch this rare episode that may have indeed started it all.

The kid actors portraying young Seinfeld, George, Elaine and Kramer are spot on for the most part, and Elaine and Kramer are eerily similar to their adult counterparts. If you thought the show was about nothing, then you'll appreciate this spoof which is about even less.

Although I didn't find this one as funny as the De Niro audition tape episode, the child actors were amazing to watch - especially the young actress playing Elaine.
