Celebrity News Beat May 31, 2009 - the Brutal Truth

My Take on Adam Lambert, Jennifer Anniston, and Brangelina

Wendy Dawn
It's interesting that among all the pieces you write, people become most vehement when you write a celebrity piece that they either disagree with, don't take time to read and understand, or totally miss the point.

Well today, there's no pulling any punches. This is the brutal truth as I see it about your favorite celebs.

Adam Lambert - let it go

He doesn't care that he didn't win American Idol. He got out of it just what he needed, publicity. Now, he just needs to sign on the dotted line. Rumor has it that it may be with queen, but regardless of his musical path he is certain to have a dynamic career.

Adam Lambert is a great guy. The brutal truth is that his face is chubby and his jet black hair is retro-Elvis rather than chic. He needs to make a fashion forward move, or add sequins to his current costumes, and he'll be on his way.

Rumor has it that he is very hung up on his appearance, even before American Idol. In my opinion, it is time for a reality check on the fashion front.

Jennifer Anniston - and just where has she been

I really hate it when there is no juicy news about Jennifer Anniston. Her fans wear their panties up their crack, or their boxers in a wad. All you have to say is she needs a haircut and you will be maligned from all sides.

I can't figure out why Jennifer Anniston is America's Sweetheart. She is the same character in film or on TV. I've seen no diversity in her acting. I'm not sure she has the ability. It will be nice to find out. For now, the most she is good for is a comedic, romantic interest.

Brangelina - PDOA

It doesn't matter what you say about Brad Pitt or Angelina Jolie it will be misconstrued. So, here is what I have to say. I find it interesting that of late we have seen more PDOA (public displays of affection). This is all on the heels of the rumors that Brad was aggravated playing "single" father while Angelina pouted and locked him out of the bedroom.

I think any rift in the Brangelina relationship was bogus, a lover's quarrel at most. These two are bound by so many little hands; it would be next to impossible for either to leave. One thing seems obvious is that they love each other and they love their kids.

Sorry Jennifer.

Wendy Dawn, post a picture of yourself so that we can take a look at it and see if you are somebody we should be taking fashion and style advice from. Style and fashion magazines are giving thumbs up and praise to Adam so I would imagine you are currently in a pair of stretch pants and a too snug t-shirt with stains on it from todays take away dinner. Adam is AMAZING... you are most certainly NOT.

I think the brutal truth is that these are only your opinions. I personally like Adam Lamberts looks, he is just cute and his voice is great. I'm glad Jennifer Aniston hasn't been in the news to much and I agree with you about Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie ;)

The brutal truth as I see it: you are an idiot. Adam has a beautiful face and certainly doesn't need to change his fashion sense. How do people like you get these jobs?

  • vicki 5/31/2009

you are kidding right? adam lambert chubby in the face? you must be talking about someone else because adam has a gorgeous face without any chub to speak of! people like you cause eating disorders! not only are you wrong about adam, but you are a complete idiot for even writing about someone's weight!

Why do some people mistake the word truth for meaning their opinion?

  • Donald Pennington 5/31/2009

I'm so glad Bradgelina is/are out of the news for a bit. Go Jennifer Aniston!

  • Carol Bengle Gilbert 5/31/2009

I would say that celeb and political writing generate about the same level of intense commentary.
