The company recently celebrated their big debut this past weekend with a celebrity yoga session on Venice Beach in California that included South of Nowhere's Valery Ortiz and others.
Kuladevi trainer and co-founder Amy Lynn describes the company by saying, "The word "Kula" means family clan and "Devi" is either a male or female deity, which may be thought of as divine, sacred, and held in a high regard. It is the unshaken belief that these family deities take care of our friends and family and save us from hardships and hindrances."
Based on functional training and hatha yoga flows and positions, Amy and her partner Keith Mitchell , a former NFL football player, bring their diverse backgrounds and expertise in the athletic, health, nutrition and spiritual fields to take you to a much deeper level then normal "yoga". For beginners to advanced practitioners or athletes, Kuladevi's programs inspire participants to create practices that endure for the rest of their lives!
