Celestial Tea Blends

You may be wondering how important blending Celestial Seasonings Herbal Teas can be. Well, it's pretty important because unsweetened herbal tea can still have quite a bitter taste to it when improperly blended or made. There are a few considerations for you to make before you blend. First, never blend any tea with Chamomile or Caffeinated Tea of any form. It is important to remember that these teas leave a bitter taste if left in water for long periods of time. Also, Chamomile blended with fruit or mint teas can have a rather urine-y taste.

Blueberry-Raspberry. Blending two bags of Blueberry and two bags of Raspberry Celestial Seasonings tea in your pitcher, pouring in cold tap water and leaving it in the fridge can be one of the tastiest combinations. A rich flavor of fruit and berries with very little dilution or distraction is delicious. This blend goes well with fish and chicken dishes.

Blueberry-Country Peach Passion. This combination is particularly taste with dry or bland foods, since it has a very well-rounded, robust flavor. The combination of blueberry and peach flavors is particularly enjoyable and goes well with crackers and cheese, chips and dip, or any main meat entrée.

Mint Magic-Peppermint. This particularly minty tea contains a double portion of Peppermint, but it also contains Spearmint, Fennel and other mint flavors which are found in Mint Magic. Spearmint, though mild and understated, is one of the most pleasing mints to the palette and so far I have yet to find a dish that Spearmint does not go with.

Orange Zinger-Lemon Zinger. This citrus tea is so delightful precisely because it is herbal, instead of sweetened and caffeinated. It is lighter, slightly blander and it adds a delightful punch to fish entrees or honey barbecue chicken. Use it also when your mood is low or you are suffering from depression. It is one of the greatest pick-me-ups of the century.

Remember to use two tea bags of each flavor, totaling four teabags in your pitcher. Leave them in so that the tea is nice and strong. No stirring or heating is required, just cold water, add the tea bags and set the pitcher in your fridge. Your tea will be ready in about forty minutes. Enjoy!
