The births occurred at the Saint Mary's Medical Center located in West Palm Beach, Florida, notes Radar Online. There must be a huge horde of photographers camping out at the hospital entrance hoping to get the first picture of the twins.
A Mom to Twins at Age 42
Celine Dion is age 42. Will she have more children or will the three boys be enough? Celine may want to keep trying for a daughter. She grew up in a large family herself so having three kids may be a walk in the park for this singer and mom.
The twins were born via a C-section surgery. They weigh 5 lbs 4oz and 5 lbs 10oz, notes the Daily Mail. The babies will spend a few days under treatment in an incubator as they were a bit premature, born at week 33 of the pregnancy. Soon enough the boys will be out of the incubator, at home, and starting to show their personalities.
A Struggle to Conceive for Celine Dion
Celine and Rene had a long wait for the twins. They had five in-vitro treatments that were not successful and one miscarriage prior to the successful pregnancy with the twins, reports NY Daily News. Celine noted the challenging nature of getting pregnant at age 42. "I never gave up. But I can tell you that it was physically and mentally exhausting."
Celine Dion: Three Sons!
Celine will have her hands full with three sons in the house. Her first child, Rene Charles, is age nine. He must be delighted to have two new baby brothers in the family.
No word yet on whether the twins are identical or fraternal. And the couple has not yet decided upon names for the twins. It would be fun if the names for the boys had some sort of musical symbolism or a hint or a link to Canada, Celine's home country or to Florida, the birthplace of the twins. The twins were conceived in New York City so perhaps their names might have a link to that location.

I am a huge Celine Dion fan. I'm not so sure about how I feel about in vitro fertilization. But I wish the family happiness.
