Celine Dion Pregnant!

After years of attempting to expand her family, Celine Dion is pregnant... with twins!

42 year old Celine and her 68 year old husband, Rene Angelil, conceived on their sixth in-vitro fertilization attempt. The couple had been trying to conceive for 6 years unsuccessfully before this in-vitro was a success. They had made their intention of conceiving public, but encountered fertility problems along the way, preventing them from conceiving. Rene battled cancer last year, casting doubt on whether the two could conceive at all. Celine is currently 14 weeks pregnant, and is finding out the gender of her babies in the next month.

Celine is currently on a break from her show in Vegas, but is scheduled to return next year to her performance. According to her official webpage, "This is great news for Americans who now have the opportunity to see their favorite singer in Las Vegas as Celine embarks on a three year residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace beginning March 15, 2011. The brand-new show directed by long-time Grammys director, Ken Ehrlich, produced by AEG Live, and designed exclusively for The Colosseum, features 31 musicians, consisting of a full orchestra and band. The show's concept will be one-of-a-kind, centered on capturing the romance of classic Hollywood movies, as well as Celine's biggest hits, performed with a stunning visual presentation. "

Celine is also currently working on two new albums for release: one in English, the other in her Native Canada's language, French.

Celine's press release goes on to say, "Celine's production team has been working on some unique, creative elements for the show which will take the live Las Vegas experience to a whole new level and offer audiences something refreshingly unexpected," said John Meglen, President and co-CEO of AEG Live/Concerts West.

Celine and Rene have another child, Rene-Charles, who is 9 years old.

According to Celine's official webpage, a new Harris poll released May 6, 2010 revealed that Celine Dion is America's favorite singer. Behind her were U2, Elvis, the Beatles, Tim McGraw, Lady Gaga, George Strait, Rascal Flatts, Alan Jackson and Frank SInatra. Celine has sold 200 million albums world-wide.

It seems that everything is going Celine's way right now with her show and her new pregnancy. America's favorite singer will soon be blessed even more.
