Do the words cancer and cell phones belong in the same sentence? Reports have been issued over the years that have many people are concerned about cell phone usage and cancer.

Studies may be found that report cell phones may contribute to certain types of cancer. Other reports will claim there is no truth to cell phones causing cancer of any sort. The decision to continue using a cell phone is an individual one, however, this might be a serious health issue.

Recent findings claim the increase in parotid gland tumors could be caused by the increase in cell phone use. However, certain types of home phones may emit as much radiation as a cell phone.

On any given day a view of the general population will give the view of several cell phone users. Most are finding cell phones have become a necessity in this busy world.

While the dispute about cell phones and increased cancer risks continues, cell phone users may appreciate being reminded that cell phones come with a warning about overuse. The package insert typically will state health concerns have been raised about excessive use of cell phones.

A quick search for any phrase containing cell phones and cancer will deliver a list of studies and opinions about the issue. Consumers have the right to make the choice when and if they will use their cell phones. Doing so as informed consumers may be the best choice.
