Throwing a Baby Shower? Here Are Some Centerpiece Ideas!

If you are holding a baby shower, then you are probably thinking about what you will have for centerpieces. Most baby showers feature a lunch or dinner and the opening of baby shower gifts. There are typically centerpieces on the table. There are some simple and creative ideas for your own centerpieces that are fun and easy to make. These centerpieces can be easily made in an afternoon, and the items can typically be found at any large toy store.

When making centerpieces for a baby shower, first consider the theme of the baby shower. If you haven't selected a theme for the baby shower, then now is a great time to do so. But many baby showers select a theme right from when the invitations have been sent out.

Jack In The Box. This is a classic children's toy that can make a cute centerpiece. Purchase Jack In The Box-es for each table and everyone will certainly have fun making them "pop" out over and over again. These will also be nice for any of the mothers of young children to take home.

Blocks. This is a great centerpiece and it is also inexpensive to do. Purchase wooden blocks from any toy store. You may need to purchase several sets. Ideally what you will want to do is to have the blocks spell out "B-A-B-Y" at each table. That will look really cute.

Rubber Ducks. For this centerpiece you will need to get a shallow, wide rimmed bowl for each table and a rubber duck (or several) for each table. To look pretty consider adding some Gerbera daisies. Another adaptation on this centerpiece is to do rubber froggies, which can look really charming.

Teddy Bears. To make this centerpiece you will need a small teddy bear, found at any discount toy store. You will also need a small box to gift wrap that the teddy bear can lean on. Another great idea is to add baby items, such as a rattle or another item that a baby might use. These make great centerpieces.

Flowering Plants. This is a very simple centerpiece. Purchase flowering plants from any nursery or large grocery store. Cover the plant pots with pink or blue paper (sometimes the nursery will do this free of charge). These make pretty centerpieces and at the end of the day someone can take them home.
