Certainty/ Doubt
I've watched this young man
All through my life
He's wandered here and wandered there
Thinking this and knowing that
Always sure but never really
Who can ever be sure
We all know something sometime
I know something for sure
This is because certainty is a friend of mine
At least he is now
Certainty will remain my friend
Why? Because I want no other
Even if certainty betrays me
Or doubt wants to flood my soul
This will never happen
Because I know what I want
And I'm sure
Never do I want to know another
In the the way that I know you
All through my life
