ChaCha Can Earn You Extra Money

You may have been hearing about a new opportunity to work from home working as a guide for ChaCha.com. You can now sign on as a guide and help others search for what they are looking for.

ChaCha is a "guided search" or you can choose to search the engine yourself. If you choose a guide, they will ask you what you are looking for. Try to be as specific as possible; it will help you get more pinpointed results. Are interested in finding a dog or are you interested in finding a Beagle? The ChaCha guide will then search and bring you a couple of resources that should help with what you were looking for.

The guide will then ask if there is anything else they can help you with. You can continue asking for more help, of if they information they brought you has helped you find what you need let them know you are finished. The guide will end the conversation and ask you to rate how they did in finding your results. Basic ratings are poor, good and great. The results stay in a box for you until you are ready to close them.

Here's where the money part comes in, during the apprentice mode, you will be training for free. Don't panic, it took me all of 5 searches with 5 star ratings and I was on my way to being a Pro, or paid guide. Pay is $5.00 per active hour searching, which means you are actively doing a search, not sitting in available mode. Here is where you can increase your earnings, once you become a Master, you can then train others. You will be paid each time you train somebody. Another way you can earn more money is to become an Elite guide. If you are in the top 20% in your chosen keywords, you will then be paid up to $10 an hour while searching those keywords. Remember, you are only paid while in active searching mode, not in available mode.

Now here's another interesting tidbit. If you become a Master, you can then get invitations, which you in turn give to other people. They then become part of your network, and you can earn 10% of what they earn. It doesn't come out of their money, so it is a win-win situation. If I make $100, the person who got me on Cha Cha makes an extra $10 bucks. If you didn't join a network, and were brought in through the invite, this is not the situation for you. You don't have to build a network, you can if you want. There is no pressure to do either.

The cool thing is you can go about your business on the web, doing whatever you want, and if a search comes up, you can click accept, do your search, which takes less than 5 minutes, then go back to what you were doing. You also have the option of passing on that particular search. If at any time you are stuck or having difficulty finding information that the person needs, you can transfer it so another person can help them.

In between searches, you can do training with other people. The computer randomly chooses a guide and a word, hopefully one that is their keyword. You then help the person with training and answer any questions they may have.

One thing that makes this so great, is that a guide can select their keywords. You can be a guide for topics that you are comfortable with. You are not going to be searching jet engine parts, if you are a guide for skin care. You initially start with three keywords, and when you reach the Master level, you will be prompted to add more keywords. The more keywords you are trained in, the more searches you will be paid for!
