Chadwicks: What a Great Online Store

My favorite online shopping website is Chadwicks. I don't remember how I discovered this retail shop. It might have been I was sent a catalog. When I first discovered Chadwicks the clothes were business attire and I thought pretty conservative. But these types of clothes were perfect for work. Over the years, Chadwicks has made their clothes trendier, but you can still purchase their basic business attire, i.e., wool pants, blazers, blouses, etc.

The number one thing that I love about this online store is their prices. They are very inexpensive and have great quality. 100% wool pants and full-lined are at the low price of $49 and if you wait for them to go on sale you can get them as low as $14.99. I was thrilled to find this bargain and of course, I purchased many colors of this item.

Another great thing about Chadwicks is they carry petite sizes. I'm 5' and it's so difficult to find clothes, especially, pants. I've spent hours at the mall searching for jeans and slacks. There were many shopping trips where I left frustrated, because I couldn't find one pair of pants. They were too long, too big in the waist or too small in the waist, but fit everywhere else or way too large in the hips.

Chadwick's petite pants fit me perfect. They, actually, make their pants for short girls and many petite sizes I swear start at 5'4". I've tried on numerous jeans that claim to be "short" in length and they go way past my ankle. I'm standing on my tip toes in the dressing room to see how the jeans look on me. I can hem jeans or slacks, but I prefer to be able to wear my pants off the rack. Really, who has time to do all that sewing or have the money to alter every pair of slacks? Plus, denim material is not that easy to sew.

I have bought many dresses and skirts from Chadwicks. Of course, they come in petite sizes. It's fantastic that I am able to find dresses and skirts that don't hang all the way down to the floor. And the skirts don't hang on me like a sack either. They are slim enough in the hips that they look fitted, which is a problem that I have with skirts.

With the down economy, I hope Chadwicks survives and continues to sell their fabulous clothes. It's so hard to find a store that meets all your needs. Chadwicks has the right styles that I like and at the right price.
