"Every player dreams for this game. Lately I had problems with injuries, but now I'm ready for Chelsea", says Manchester United and Serbia defender, Nemanja Vidic. He says that the key figure in the match will be Carlos Tevez. "We have confidence in our forwards. Carlos is a player that always wants to get better. His goals could decide the outcome of the match", says Vidic.
Tevez says that the players of Manchester will enter the game calmly, because they have already won the title in the English Premier League. "Maybe the Chelsea players will say that the Premier League is different from the Champions League. We are the favorites, because to Chelsea this match is more than a final. Their whole season depends on this game", says Tevez.
Chelsea's captain, John Terry, thinks that the placement in the final is a great success for his team, but he says that they also want the trophy. "To play in the final means a great deal to all of us. But we can not be satisfied with that, because we have an even bigger wish to win the title. That will mean a lot for the club and for the fans", says John Terry.
For manager Avram Grant a triumph in the Champions League would also probably mean that he will stay on Chelsea's bench next season.
"It is clear to everyone that in the final I have to show what kind of a coach I am. The situation would be the same if I had won ten titles in the past. I keep repeating to my players that the basis of sports is repeated success", says Grant.
Attacker Didier Drogba says that an eventual defeat from Manchester United will be the biggest dark spot in his professional career so far. "I am not afraid at all from the match and I hope that I will play in a tandem with Anelka. If we do not win the title, that bill be a black spot for me and the only season with Chelsea where I have not won anything", says Drogba.
Manchester United has been the champion of Europe twice, in 1968 and 1999, while Chelsea will fight for its first such title.
According to reports in England, traveling to Moscow there will be several tens of thousands of fans of both teams.
The game starts tomorrow at 8:45 PM, local time, the capacity of the stadium "Luzhniki" is 85,000 seats.
