Chances are that you've had too many chances already.
Chances are that is what is wrong with your life now.
No! I won't give you another chance to do me wrong again.
You have had to many chances to do me wrong in the past.
I will wait on someone that will treat me right.
Chances are that I will never find that someone.
Chances are that I will find her just around the next corner or next week.
What I know is chances are good that you have had too many chances already.

Nice one Johnny!
Oh my.........I know this feeling. Nice poem.
This is though, I wonder why someone would give another a chance. If only to fix what is broken, but never to have a fresh start. Chances should be forgotten as should hurts. Forgiveness is in order. Forgive the heart for wanting more, forgive the breaker for wanting to break. Forgive yourself for wanting what the heart wants. Take a chance on yourself, that all things new are just around the corner with new wants in a well mended heart.
