Chandan Soap by Mysore: Product Review
Chandan soap is made by Mysore from India. The color of the soap is medium orange and it weighs 75 gms. I was given this soap a while ago and I really like it. It is made with pure sandalwood oil and is a wonderful soap that comes wrapped in individual boxes.
Sandalwood oil soothes dry skin, brings a glow to the face, and leaves a lingering fragrance. Sandalwood is known for its excellent skin-softening and nourishing qualities and it enhances lathering and perfume retention.
The ingredients in Chandan Soap by Mysore are: sodium palmate, palm kernalate, sodium oncoate, demineralized water, permitted colors, perfumes & preservatives, and sandalwood oil
When I first was given Chandan Soap by Mysore, I did not even look at all the ingredients that much; I just knew that it was a very well made soap.
I used Chandan Soap by Mysore when I took a shower and noticed that the soap smelled so wonderful and had a very strong aroma; I could really smell the sandalwood. As I proceeded to wash with Chandan Soap by Mysore, I noticed that it did not leave a soapy residue and it left my skin feeling clean, refreshed, and soft. Also, I recommend using Chandan Soap by Mysore instead of using a deodorant soap, because it is less drying. In my opinion, it works much better than a deodorant soap.
I prefer to use Chandan Soap by Mysore to cleanse my body, but I also like to wash my face with it, because it is so gentle. On the soap's packaging, it does not say that you cannot wash your face with it, so I presume that you can.
I was also pleased to know that Chandan Soap by Mysore does not contain any animal fat.
I really do recommend Chandan Soap by Mysore if you want a good, high quality soap that is made with sandalwood and you want your skin to be really clean, soft, and refreshed. It may work for you too as a deodorant soap; I know that it did for me. It is a very versatile soap and if you like the scent of sandalwood, then I know that you will love it.
