Change

What is change? Whenever there is change our lives are altered in small or sometimes large ways. They say without it we do not evolve, learn, or grow, but what in fact is change? Speaking of change is easy, doing something to make it happen to your benefit is another thing. All the politicians are shouting I'm for change, but what exactly is it they all plan to do? Are they going to change things for the better or the worse?

Have you heard any of them come up with a concrete plan for changing the gridlock in congress? Have you heard someone saying how they are going to stop the falling prices of the housing market? What about jobs, there is more unemployed in this country now then in years. We're headed for a recession and there is no denying it. So tell me what changes these politicians are going to do to improve our live, the lives of the homeless, the poor, and the elderly. Has anyone told you that yet?

The young people are all getting on the bandwagon demanding change. Well, kids you may forget but it wasn't too long ago we had a country that belonged to the people. We got change all right. We have been bombed in our own country, lost a lot of our freedoms, unemployment is up, our job are bring shipped out of the country, while illegal aliens get benefits we are all paying for through the nose. We got change all right, but it was not for the better.

If all these people are spouting we will be the ones to bring change, let them tell us HOW that change will take place. So far I've not heard a word about the how but instead a lot of rhetoric about how great they are, not one word about the plans they have for our future.

Each and every one of these politicians has changed themselves. Obama was a Republican, next a Democrat; he was a Muslim, now he is a Christian; he won't salute the flag, then he will when it suits him; he was against the war in Iraq then voted to give them more money. Now that is indeed change!! However, he is not alone so lets don't single him out. Hillary has changed her stand on many things back and forth, so has Romney , Huckabee and the rest. Change seems to be the name of the game for all politicians.

Change is a most dangerous word, if it has no substance, no target and can be used any way you like. We just went though that with change by President Bush and the changes have been disastrous to say the least. We are now the most hated country in the world, now that is change for sure.

Give me something of substance to see what changes you people are going to make. Please tell me what you can do for us, to improve our lives, bring back peace and prosperity to this land of ours. Then I'll vote for you, until then, I will change my mind like all you politicians are doing.

Ask not for CHANGE but ask WHAT changes are promised and who can deliver. Who is it that has to change them or us? Then I will cast my vote for the one who offers answers to these question.

  • Obama says one thing, Hillary and John says another, what is their brand of change?
  • Huckabee, Romney, Guilania all spout Change but tell me what they are going to do?
  • All the Political canidates speak of change, but so far I've heard no plan on how.
It 's easy to yell CHANGE, but what changes are the politicians so eager for our vote going to REALLY accomplish? Are they different Washington or are they just running their mouths with no idea of how they can make things better?

I'd like to know too. Very good points. It's scary to think of changes any worse than those we've already experienced.
