Changing the Aspire One

My favorite item...hmm, this took hours of thought and then it hit me-- duh-- the one thing that I spend most of my time on -- my laptop. My little, shiny, dark blue Acer, ASPIRE ONE, (insert sigh of happiness). I really enjoy this tiny piece of equipment, it has become part of who I am (and is easy to travel with as well!). Whether I am typing up a paper for AC, talking to my boyfriend, playing video games, surfing the web, or downloading music it serves my purpose well.

The only major downfall to this little bundle of joy (and when I say little I mean little! It is about 6 inches by 10 inches and 2 inches thick, when it is shut anyway) is that it does not have a cd-rom drive. Which was fine for me, because I do not have many cd-roms to begin with. However it led to having to download all of my programs. Which of course lead to having to find the right programs that did not ask for a product key and that did not have a bug or virus attached to it, was even harder.

So now I am equipped with programs (not for lack of acquiring two Trojan horse viruses!), however, I think they should make a slightly bigger model that includes a cd-rom drive. I think that it would cause a lot less stress to be involved (for me and possibly a lot of other users as well!), because you would not have to be worried about viruses and all the other malicious software out there coming into your possession.
