Changing the Milky Way: Modern Vs. Traditional Astronomy

Rachel Naba
The science of Astronomy is no exception. Despite the impressive technology and telescopes that our astronomers enjoy, their maps of the sky and astronomical calculations are often proven wrong. Unfortunately, our modern scientists tend to forget that their "laws" are really only theories, and theories change depending on the scientific mood or climate of the era. Astronomical "facts" are printed in textbooks and are offered as the truth, only to be changed with little hesitation once more information is discovered. Now, after many years of telling us about the characteristics of the Milky Way, the map of our galaxy will have to be redrawn!

Australian astronomers have discovered a huge arm of the Milky Way that has been unknown to modern science until now. The arm is 77,000 light years long and several thousand light years thick and runs along the galaxy's edge! Astronomers attempt to lessen the blow to their science that this new discovery gives by explaining that the arm cannot be seen by a telescope, as it is not in the visible part of the light spectrum. The new addition to our galaxy was discovered by accident - scientists were studying hydrogen!

While our astronomers and scientists struggle to save face and explain their shortcomings, other cultures from around the world chuckle. The modern scientists have nothing on the body of traditional knowledge. For example, a Chinese star chart that dates back to the 7th century AD includes stars that are not found with the naked eye - and during that time, the Chinese had no telescopes! It also represents the sky as a sphere projected on a cylinder, which is a technique that was adopted in Europe much later, in the 15th century.

While modern scientists play catch-up, a map of the sky exists that surpasses modern astronomy as well as other traditional astronomy maps: The Mandala of Denderah. Resurrected by Naba Lamoussa Morodenibig of The Earth Center, the Mandala of Denderah is the oldest map of the sky in existence. It is a Kemetic (Ancient Egypt) map and includes the original constellations and placements of stars that modern astronomers have usurped and claimed as their own.

The Mandala of Denderah predates modern history. It is over 54,000 years old and has been reproduced by other cultures, such as the Mayans and the Chinese. In an interview in The Rising Firefly, Master Naba said, ³"Since the Europeans took over, their map of the sky has changed. For the last 600 years the map of the sky has been changed at least 100 times! Before the Europeans started developing interest in astronomy, it was the Arabic people that made it their job to change all the names of the stars into the Arabic language. While this was happening, the Chinese people were changing all the names into Chinese and reconfigurating the drawings. When Europeans came into play, they had a convention to get Arabs to name some of the stars and leave some for Europeans to name. So some of them took Arabic names and others took Latin names. So basically, astronomy is becoming more difficult because of politics."
The Kemetic civilization is the one that has given humanity medicine, spirituality and astronomy. Without the use of telescopes and "modern" technology, the people of Kemet (Ancient Egypt) held, and still hold today, more knowledge of the heavens than modern astronomers. The Kemetic priests and astronomers have knowledge of stars and galaxies that modern astronomy knows nothing about, despite their big mouths and propaganda of having "the truth".
