Channelside Bay Plaza offers guests several different ways to enjoy themselves. The relaxing atmosphere of the outdoor plaza provides visitors with shopping, dining, and entertainment in a great location situated alongside the Tampa Bay.
Shopping
If shopping is your passion, you will find Channelside a great place to shop. The plaza is filled with stores that will please the most discriminating buyers, offering shoppers such innovative stores as a specialty cigar shop that sells countless varieties of cigars and cigar accessories. In addition, Channelside features a Joffrey's Coffee and Tea Company and several clothing stores that make their home at Channelside. The plaza also features a chocolatier and a store that sells hand painted original oil paintings.
Restaurants
The restaurants at Channelside range from upscale to casual and everything in between. So if you are looking for a sophisticated evening out or just a quick snack while shopping, Channelside has something for you. From pizza to Thai, Channelside also hosts a wide variety of cuisines. The plaza features the casual atmosphere of Bennigan's and Hooter's, as well as the fun eatery and bar, Margarita Mama's. If you are in the mood for upscale, Tina Tapas and Grille 29 offer patrons a more sophisticated dining experience.
Entertainment
Channelside has some spectacular options for visitors looking to be entertained. To begin with, Channelside offers the always fun piano bar Howl at the Moon. Sing along with piano players to your favorite songs of the past and present while enjoying a drink. Channelside also houses a Sling Shots which is a country pop saloon, and Splitsville, a unique concept in entertainment that features a bowling alley, billiards, great food, and several full liquor bars. Also in residence at Channelside is Stumps Supper Club. Stumps serves some really delicious southern style food and also features live entertainment every evening. In addition, Banana Joe's, McGraw's, and the Velvet Room are also fun places to check out while you're at Channelside. With all of these options available to entertain visitors, it's hard to believe that Channelside also has an Imax Theater for movie buffs to enjoy.
