An appointment manager is a program designed to help you keep track of things. Most appointment managers come with a calendar to help you keep track of important dates, appointments, and events. Most also have features to help you keep track of to-do lists, passwords, addresses, phone numbers, emails, and so on.
There are a lot of good, free appointment managers out there. And Chaos Manager is one of the easiest I've come across.
What Is Chaos Manager?
Chaos Manager is a very simple, streamlined, easy-to-use appointment manager. It's for people who want a simple program that doesn't take a lot of time to learn to use, can be used with ease, and doesn't take up a lot of space on their hard drive.
Chaos Manager comes equipped with the features you find in most appointment managers.
- Appointments. Keep track of important dates and appointments. When an important appointment is coming up, a pop up and alarm will give you a reminder.
- Notebook. This feature allows you to take notes, make lists, and so on. You can have several different notes on many different topics.
- Contacts. Keep track of the addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, and birth dates of everyone you know.
- Calendar. Get a quick overview of the important appointments and events taking place on a given month.
- Calculator. For when you have to do a little quick math.
Chaos Manager has two other features that I really like.
Are you going to be storing information in your appointment manager that you don't want anyone else to see? If so, you can password protect Chaos Manager, so no one but you will have access to your information.
You can run Chaos Manager from any removable media, like a USB flash drive. That way, you can take your appointment manager with you, and run it on any computer, even one that doesn't have Chaos Manager installed.
Chaos Manager is meant to be a very small, basic appointment manager, so it doesn't have as many of the features of other appointment managers. But if you don't want a lot of bells and whistles, and just need a simple appointment manager to help you keep track of your schedule, Chaos Manager might be just what you're looking for.
