Char Fasl is a family owned and operated Persian restaurant; many of its customers are predominantly Persians, fitness trainers and people on diets. Persian cuisine is one of the healthiest foods for not containing heavy oils or sauces at all. The meats are charbroiled along with the use of vegetables.
The menu includes appetizers, salads, kabobs, stews, sandwiches, vegetarian meals; as well as beef, chicken, lamb, and seafood dishes. Most of the appetizers are vegetarian, with "hummus", "tahtig", and "kashk o bademjan" being the most popular.
My most favorite Persian dish is Koobideh lamb or even beef; for some reason the beef does not make me feel bad. The reason is that it is lean. Koobideh comes with basmati rice, one juice skewer of ground beef, and grilled tomato)
The most popular dishes as favored by the goers is Char Fasl Special that comes with one skewer of chicken koobideh, one skewer of beef koobideh, ½ skewer of beef barg, ½ skewer of chicken barg and a choice of two different kind of rice. It serves two persons.
Lamb Kabob comes with chunks of marinated lamb tenderloin cooked over open fire, served with grilled tomato, grilled vegetables and basmati rice.
The soup is another delicious dish; Addass soup (lentil soup) comes in bowl or cup size.
The last time I was there I had coffee with milk, and dessert. The Baghlava tastes yummy; the ice cream was my favorite. The Persian desserts add a different flavor after meal; they are not very sweet and they offer a natural taste.
Persian Ice Cream offers the following flavors: Faludeh, Pistachio, Honey Melon, Cucumber, Chocolate & Strawberry.
Char Fasl is a restaurant that offers a fine Persian cuisine menu and service. The staff is friendly. The interior design is of a great style. It offers catering, food to go and delivery with same great service and caring to the customers.
On Friday and Saturdays at Char Fasl has live music and belly dancers. Char Fasl is also available for private parties and special occasions.
Char Fasl is located at Agoura Hills City Mall, 5843 Kanan Road.
