The primary source for the moment of Charla Nash pictures is the Oprah Winfrey Show. Yesterday Charla Nash appeared on Oprah to inform the public about her ordeal. She came out wearing a veil and described the nature of the attack. There isn't anything much more unfortunate than one person's kind heartedness leading to such tremendous misfortune.
There seem to be a few lessons to be learned from the sudden need to see Charla Nash pictures and to want to hear her story. For the most part, the lessons are nothing new. Firstly, and perhaps most obviously, wild animals should not be kept as pets. True, some are kept successfully for the life span of the animal without incident. However, it is obvious that these animals are not meant to be kept as house pets.
Wild animals are predisposed to live in the wild. Their instinct is what keeps them alive and prepares them for life beyond the walls of captivity. To introduce a wild animal into the confines of somebody's home carries with it great potential for disaster. This unfortunate incident is one in a long line of attempts to "domesticate" an animal that would have been far better suited to live in the wild.
There will undoubtedly be people who believe that this is simply an unfortunate incident. They will believe that the chimp momentarily lost control and Charla Nash was the unfortunate victim of the animal's bad mood. The truth is that there was a history with this animal. There were those that believed something like this could occur. Instead, the warning signs were ignored and the unthinkable happened.
There is always a danger when a wild animal is brought into captivity. It begins, and is always present from the moment the decision is made to do so. Best that we start learning from these mistakes and leave the animals where they are. It is unfortunate that more people will be harmed or worse while these animals are removed from their natural habitats for our amusement.
While looking for Charla Nash pictures, keep in mind why there is so much interest to do so. Then take a moment and think about what you can do to insure there won't be any more Charla Nash type pictures in demand in the future.
