Manson is housed in California State prison, Corcoran, California in protective housing along with 17 other inmates. Manson is allowed a parole hearing every five years and will be eligible once again in the year 2012.
Manson age 72, was denied because he "Continues to pose an unreasonable danger to others and may still bring harm to anyone he would come in contact with" according to Reuters.
Manson was convicted in 1969 for the murders of Leno and Rosemary LaBianca, and Sharon Tate, pregnant wife of Roman Polanski, film director, and four others. Manson had a cult, and his "family" members did the actual killing at his request. The trial was a high profile trial, and the Beatles song "Helter Skelter" was Manson's interpretation of a war between black and whites. Manson hoped to start a conflict by killing whites, thinking the black race would be blamed.

Post a Commenti think the mastermind should always face the the maximum sentence but in this case i think none of them should ever get out ,i dont care if you were brainwashed it takes a special person to cut someone up like that like the lady said no mercy reap what you sow.
"With the possibility of parole"?!? That is just insane! When Sharon Tate was begging for her life and the life of her unborn child...they showed her none plus they butchered the others and yet they want leanancy and to be able to roam free!?! You all (Manson and his followers) should die the same way as those you butchered back in 1969.
Manson is not crazy. He's an evil man with a plan and a rap.
i think this man is old but not crazy hes a smart man who had it all planned out
Very informative!
mind-control can happen even without drugs
I think he will die in prison. Don't give him much credit, because I think if it wasn't for the drugs in those days no one would have listened to him
He reminds me a lot of Osama Bin Laden in the fact that he has others do his bidding, or killing in this case. He needs to be kept where he is. great article.
He still has way too much power for my comfort, I'm still wondering why he has even the possibility of parole but that's a matter for another day. As long as he isn't contributing to his defense and actively trying to get out, he's doing all of us a favor IMO.
Some of my words didn't show... grrrr. Sorry about that Dee.
