Charlie Sheen Back in Rehab as Jessica White Arrested for Assault Following Incidents in New York City

Notorious bad boy Charlie Sheen was rushed to the hospital, and is now reportedly on his way to rehab after an incident at a New York City hotel involving a hooker and cocaine while on a family vacation; Jessica White, a sexy swimsuit model, (and Sean Penn's girlfriend) is accused of beating up a woman outside a New York City club as a result of an argument over a taxi.

Suddenly, New York City is the place where celebrities have been behaving badly.

To say that it has been a bad twelve months for Charlie Sheen would be an understatement. Last Christmas Day, Sheen was arrested following a domestic dispute with his wife, and mother of his twins, Brooke Mueller Sheen. He ultimately pleaded guilty in August, avoided jail time, and was sentenced to a rehab stint, probation and was ordered to attend anger management classes. Mueller and Sheen are since divorced.

In the early hours of Tuesday morning, policed arrived after a call by management at The Plaza hotel. They found Sheen's room in disarray but did not arrest him, but took him into custody and he was taken to a hospital for a psychiatric evaluation. Later, reports indicated that he was with a prostitute who told investigators that Sheen had been doing cocaine.

His publicist, Stan Rosenfield, said that Sheen had suffered from an undisclosed allergic reaction. Left unexplained by Mr. Rosenfield was how an allergic reaction caused the hooker to appear how it resulted in trashed hotel room furniture.

Further complicating the situation was that Sheen was there with his ex-wife, Denise Richards and the couple's kids, all of whom were staying in another room in the same hotel.

Late this afternoon, it was reported that Sheen is on his way back to rehab. Sheen will reportedly check into Promises, a rehab clinic in Malibu.

At this point, it seems pretty clear that Charlie Sheen has some very deep and potentially tragic issues that he needs to deal with. Remarkably, he's been able to keep his acting career going, particularly as the star of the hit CBS show Two and a Half Men. But eventually, and perhaps sooner than later, Sheen will run out of 'runway' if continued violence and drug problems continue to occur.

Jessica White, probably known best as a Sports Illustrated swimsuit model, was arrested at 4:50AM Sunday morning after getting into a fight with a woman following a dispute over a cab. White allegedly struck the woman repeatedly and pulled her hair.

Ironically, White is the girlfriend (some say steady and some say occasional) girlfriend of Sean Penn, he of the notorious temper problems.

While White does not have the visibility or career that Sheen has, the incident probably won't help her as she tries to cross over from modeling into the acting world.

So we have notorious bad boy Charlie Sheen in trouble again and Jessica White in trouble for the first time; it has been a crazy few days for bad celebrity behavior in New York City.
