However, an irritated and confused-sounding Charlie Sheen called into a morning radio show Monday to blame CBS for any delay in filming "Two And A Half Men".
Charlie Sheen To CBS: 'I'm ready. Bring it!' (AUDIO)
In a somewhat bizarre radio call-in to the Dan Patrick show this morning, Charlie Sheen told Dan he showed up to work at the "Two And A Half Men" studio this week and no one was there. Sheen explained his raspy voice, saying he was screaming and pounding on the door to be let in. "I figured I'm supposed to go to work, 'cause I'm ready". (Listen to the Charlie Sheen Dan Patrick interview here on TMZ.)
When Dan Patrick reminded him the show is on hiatus, Charlie Sheen seemed to get indignent. "No, we're on forced hiatus." Referring to "Two And A Half Men" executives, Sheen relayed, "They said you get ready, we'll get ready. And I got ready and went back, nobody's there. Nobody's there."
Probably the most off-beat comment came when Charlie Sheen almost appeared to be challenging CBS execs, proclaiming, "I'm here, and I'm ready. They're not. Bring it! you know?"
Charlie Sheen Angry and In Denial On Dan Patrick Show
It seems clear from this recent interview that Charlie Sheen is far from recovered. Whether or not he's been sober lately isn't even the issue; facing reality is still obviously a big issue for the struggling actor. According to TMZ, CBS has just decided to order only four more episodes of "Two And A Half Men", half the number expected to be ordered to complete the season.
This will translate into lots of lost pay for the show's cast and crew, and the only person to blame for that is Charlie Sheen. Though he wants to be the good guy that nobody blames for anything, Charlie Sheen needs to accept that he is the root of this problem. Listening to Sheen's words and general attitude on the Dan Patrick Show Monday really highlighted how far out of touch with reality he is operating.

Maybe he should go have a beer with Mel Gibson, then go to church together....birds of a feather?
