Charlie Sheen -- Going to Jail?

The newly released 911 call that led to the arrest of Charlie Sheen on Christmas Day.

The call went out from Sheen's house in Aspen Colorado just after 830 Christmas morning, Sheen's wife Brooke Mueller said she was terrified and pleading for help claiming that Sheen threatened her with a switchblade knife.

The 911 call went like this:

911 operator: "okay, tell me exactly what happened."

Mueller:|" my husband had me (unintelligible) with, with, with a knife and I feared for my life and he threatened me."

911 operator: "okay, are you guys separated right now?"

Mueller: "yeah. Right now, we have people that are separating us, but I have to file the report."

911 operator:"are there other people there? Does he still have the knife?"

Mueller:"yeah, he still does, but there's other people here."

Presumably those other people included the couple's twin 11 months-year-old boys Max and Bob and their nanny although there's no mention of them on the call. In a sworn affidavit a police officer said Sheehan had a folding knife and a travel bag but denied threatening Mueller with a knife or strangling her. She said his wife had been drinking and they began arguing after she had threatened to leave him and take the children. In the sworn affidavit Mueller told a second officer that Sheen had grabbed her by the throat holding a knife to her neck and saying quote "you better be in fear if you tell anybody I will kill you."

As a real bad boy suspect sheen spent some time behind bars on Christmas Day before he made bail and left for Los Angeles. The next day Mueller was photographed smiling with no apparent marks on her neck, now People magazine report that Sheen and Brooke Mueller are seeking help. Reportedly Charlie and Brock are headed towards marriage counseling and Charlie is undergoing therapy for anger management as well. The District Attorney's Office says that any decision on whether to file charges won't be made just until Sheen's first court appearance in February.

Is Charlie Sheen looking at real jail time here? Well if the prosecutors move forward on the charges on which got him arrested he could face up to eight years in prison and even if they move forward on those charges and cut some sort of deal it looks like there's no way Charlie Sheen could not get away with no jail time. If Mueller decides that she is no longer going to co-operate with the authorities, the prosecutors still could move forward this would be the people of the state of Colorado versus Charlie Sheen, so if they decide that they have the evidence even if Mueller decides not to cooperate they could still move forward.

Charlie Sheen has a history of bad behavior he accidentally shot Kelly Preston when they were engaged, he's used hookers, he's overdosed on cocaine, but Charlie Sheen seems untouchable as he continues to receive primetime roles in Hollywood. Does Charlie Sheen get a pass because of his lovable at boy persona? Will this be the final act of bad boy behavior that Lance Charlie Sheen in jail? I guess we'll have to wait until February to find out.
