Charlie Sheen Offers to Pay Crew Salaries of Two and a Half Men

Bev Cohen
Due to Charlie Sheen's out-of-control behavior and rehabilitation treatment that he is currently undergoing, Two And A Half Men will not be shooting any new episodes until he is able to return to work. And there has been no decision regarding whether crew members of the show will be paid during Sheen's absence.

But Charlie Sheen has stepped forward and offered to pay one-third of the crew members' salaries provided that CBS and Warner Brothers cover the rest. There has been no word yet as to whether this offer has been accepted by CBS and Warner Brothers.

"We sincerely hope that Charlie's rehab is going well," an unnamed CBS executive told TMZ. "We hope that he is healthy in the very near future and we look forward to the return of production of Two And A Half Men."

Charlie Sheen, 45 years old, has chosen to receive rehabilitation treatment at home. Mark Burg, a Two And A Half Men producer, says "Charlie has put together a team that he trusts to help get him sober once and for all."

So, do you think it's generous of Charlie Sheen to offer to pay one-third of the crew members' salaries? Or do you think he should pay 100% of their salaries due to his continuous reprehensible behavior?

Charlie's continuing saga has been pretty tough to watch. I don't believe that people can receive proper treatment to drug problems at home so I'm not hopeful about that. It's too bad that so many people are affected by his continuing refusals to get real help for his problems. Good write-up.
