Charlie Sheen Speaks on "20/20" in His Own Words

Linda M. McCloud
Tonight, Charlie Sheen was the feature on news "20/20." It was no wonder the popular news show decided to give him an entire hour to talk, talking is what he seems to be doing best lately. He has been making the rounds, both on television shows and talk shows, talking about his life, and his anger over his television show "Two and Half Men" being cancelled.

Before the interview got off the ground, the announcer reminded the audience that Charlie Sheen was the highest paid actor, ever. It is estimated that he is making $2 million an episode. But after 8 successful seasons the show has been cancelled and Charlie says he is no longer feeling any love.

What caused CBS and Warner Brothers to Cancel "Two and Half Men", a show that could stay number one even when it was showing repeats? His last rant on "The Alex Jones Show" radio show was one rant to many for them when he referred to executive producer Chuck Lorraire, by his Hebrew name, which many thought was an anti-simitic remark. During this interview, Charlie said he wasn't anti-simitic.

What else did he have to say?

He said he was honest. That was why people loved him. He also kept referring himself as a rock star.

When asked when the last time he took drugs was, he didn't really know. But he did pass a drug test that was performed right after the interview.

When asked if he was bipolar. He didn't want to talk about the idea. Yet, a doctor interviewed during the special said Charlie needed to be examined by a doctor. The doctor also explained many of the symptoms of bipolar, many of these symptoms seem to be signs that Sheen was exhibiting during the interview.

As for the cancellation of "Two and Half Men" Charlie isn't letting this go, quietly (does he let anything go quietly). He says he is going to sue CBS and Warner Brothers for tons of money on the grounds of breach of contract and mental anguish. Part of the reason, may be the fact that he has to pay $110,000 a month in child support.

Charlie should be happy to know that CBS has agreed to pay the crew of "Two and Half Men" for the four episodes, that were cancelled this year.

When asked what was in the future for Charlie Sheen he said: "Winning, every day. Defeat is not an option." He then went on to say if the show doesn't work out he will do movies. He was also asked if he was afraid to die and he answered yes. Plus, he admitted he would like to live to see his 90's.

His fans would like to see him to live that long, too. Yet many worry that he won't live that long because of the way he is living. This special may make them worry more about this talented man, sometimes deep thinking man, but this very troubled man.
