Charlie Sheen Speaks Out: Drunk, Naked, Trashed Hotel Story Over-Blown

Magnolia Miller
Huh. Charlie Sheen is speaking out and via text message (how 2010) says that the entire story about his frothing at the mouth, trashing a hotel room to the tune of $7,000 and testing positive for cocaine are, ahem, "over-blown". Can somebody say, "Denial?"

Charlie Sheen Headed Back to Work

So, other than back to work this week, it's anybody's guess where Charlie Sheen will go from here. But, given that the guy really doesn't think he has an issue with drugs and alcohol, there's really not much more that anybody can say.

I find it appalling, though, that Charlie Sheen is allowed a pass on his outrageous and more than slightly nutty behavior and Mel Gibson is raked unceremoniously over the coals. But, according to E! Online, Mel Gibson's sins are more egregious because he attacks Jews, women and blacks. Charlie Sheen just takes his insanity out on his ex-wives and hookers. So there.

Charlie Sheen Vows to Keep Details of Story Under-Wraps

In the same text message, Charlie Sheen has also vowed to keep the details of this melt-down "under wraps." While a noble idea, I'm not real sure how he's going to pull that one off since police reports are a matter of public record; so, I doubt that any details will remain "under wraps". Just sayin, Charlie.

One has to wonder how Charlie Sheen's father, Martin Sheen, feels about his son's insane behavior. He rarely speaks out, but, like anybody else, he certainly has no control over the choices that Charlie makes. It's still rather unfortunate, but, in Hollywood (or in this case, New York), it's just another day at the office, I suppose.
