The first class is scheduled to meet on December 7th at 6 PM at the Charlotte Observer's office located at 600 South Tryon Street.
Students participating in the Career Exploration class must agree to attend all meetings. A schedule will be given during the first meeting on Tuesday, December 7th, 2010. Each class will last for approximately one hour.

By participating in these classes, high school students will have the opportunity to learn more about what reporters, photographers and others working in journalism actually do. Anything read in a book or online can't compare to this experience for high school students. Here students will also learn about experiences and careers available for journalists working in radio and TV.
The fee for these classes at the Charlotte Observer is $15.00 and this is payable at the first meeting. The classes will meet at 6 PM on Tuesdays, and run from December until April.
