Charming Chick Jewelry Store in Forney Texas

Charming Chick is a unique store located at 106 E. Main Street in Forney, Texas, just across from City Hall. I heard about this shop a couple of months ago from friends and I finally made my way to downtown Forney to check it out for myself. I'm glad I did, and was even happier to be inside the dry store when a rain storm hit.

I was lucky enough to speak to the owner of Charming Chick (a name I absolutely love for a store). Jenna Warren was working in her shop and came out to see what the crazy woman with a digital camera was in need of. I almost always have my digital camera with me in case I spot something interesting to write about, like Charming Chick.

I asked Jenna Warren how long she has been in business and she told me that she has been selling jewelry and accessories online at www.CharmingChick.com for 5 years. She opened her store on Main Street in May of 2009. Though you may think the economic environment would make it hard for any business to succeed, Charming Chick seems to have found a nice niche in Forney. Warren was very successful in online sales, which made it easier to make a move to a storefront.

Charming Chick sells jewelry, accessories and gifts at very reasonable and affordable prices. I love jewelry and many of the bracelets and rings immediately caught my eye. What was impressive was that the jewelry was very fashionable and inexpensive. They sell sterling silver charms starting at only $4.99 and fashion items like bracelets start at just $10.

Charming Chick owner Jenna Warren said that they offer engraved and monogrammed gifts and that those are the top sellers during Valentine's Day and Christmas time. They take special requests, so if you are looking to have a certain birthstone placed in a piece of jewelry at the store, they can take care of it for you. Warren said, "We want it to be unique and affordable for our customers." I'm glad I found this jewel of a store and if you are in Forney, I would certainly encourage you to stop in and look around.
