Check out these unique but cheap Christmas decorations that your kids can make with ease. It won't make much of a dent in your wallet, but it will create plenty of happy memories!

Egg Carton Bell

This is a great Christmas craft for kids. All you need is an egg carton, tin foil, a toothpick, and some thin ribbon or yarn or string. Cut 1 cup out of the egg carton. This will make 1 bell. Cut a piece of tin foil about 6 x 6 inches. Wrap the tin foil around the egg carton cup and tuck the loose ends up inside the cup. Place the cup upside down and poke a small hole in the top with a toothpick. Cut approximately 10 inches of the ribbon or yarn or string (whatever you picked), make it into a loop and tie the open ends in a knot. Push the opposite end (the looped end) up through the hole in the bell so that the knot ends up inside the bell. Gently pull the loop up as far as it will go. The Christmas bell is done! Your kids can leave it as is or decorate it with glitter, stickers, paint or anything they like. As you can see, this is an extremely inexpensive Christmas decoration in that you can make 12 bells from 1 egg carton.

Beautiful Beaded Ornaments

You only need pipe cleaners and beads and a little imagination! Just add enough beads to a pipe cleaner to make a circle. Twist the ends together to secure the circle, leaving a little bit of the pipe cleaner to use as a hook to hang the ornament. Simple as that. Or you can make another loop with more beads and hook that onto the first one. And so on. This decoration can be made as short or long as your child wants!
