Cheap Christmas Gift Ideas for Grandparents

Show Grandma and Grandpa the Holiday Cheer on Your Budget!

Britt Baker
It's always nice to remember your grandparents during the Christmas season, since you know they always keep you in mind! Sometimes, though, when you're on a budget, it's hard to think of getting grandma and grandpa more than a card to bring in the holiday cheer. However, there are plenty of great, cheap Christmas presents your grandparents would love, regardless of the price tag, and here are those bargain ideas!

A Homemade Present

A thoughtful, homemade, inexpensive Christmas present will surely delight your grandparents, and the options are endless! Use your creativity to make your grandparents a collage of all of their grandchildren. You can even make a frame for the collage, too! Another homemade and cheap Christmas present idea for grandparents is a Christmas ornament. You could make them a picture ornament to go along with the collage or perhaps a clay snowman or a star made of craft wire.

Show of the Baking Skills Grandma Taught You

What's a better Christmas season snack than homemade cookies! Show your grandparents how great of a baker you are by making them a dozen or two of cookies. Remember to keep their favorites in mind. This is a very tasty budget Christmas gift for grandparents indeed!

Give Helpful Coupons

I'm sure more than any gift they could receive, your grandparents would love to spend more time with you! Why don't you give them some homemade coupons offering to help grandpa shovel the snow or to help grandma cook dinner one night. You could also give them coupons offering to to take them out to breakfast at their favorite diner or cafe one weekend morning. Grandparents love spending time with their grandchildren, and making coupons as a gift is a wonderful, budget-friendly Christmas present for you to give them!

Personalized Gifts

Grandparents love showing off their grandchildren, so consider giving your grandparents a shirt or mug with a picture of the grandchildren scanned on it. Grandpa will love drinking his morning cup of coffee while looking at his lovely grandchildren, and grandma will love showing her friends all of her grandchildren right from her t-shirt! Many websites offer bargain personalized gifts for grandparents for Christmas, so there are many options out there!

Reminisce with Gifts

Give your grandparents a gift that will help them remember their growing up or their heritage. There are many books out that show how towns have changed over the years. These are a great gift bargain for grandparents to remember where they grew up. You can also give your grandparents a CD or even a record of one of their favorite albums or singers of years ago. They'll love that you remembered the memories they told you about!

Enjoy the holiday season and cheer with your Grandparents and these fun, cheap Christmas gift presents to share with them!

Last Christmas, I brought my grandpa (who is living alone) a Just5 phone. The phone's PERS features have given us peace of mind despite the fact that he is living away from us. This is not to mention yet that he finds it easy to use the phone because of its senior-friendly features. Thanks to www.just5.com I discovered such great gift that my grandpa and the rest of the family will cherish for a long time.
