You may already have the essential ingredients you need to make these costumes, right in your closet at home. If you don't have a few of the Halloween costume accessories you can likely borrow them from your friends and family.

Sports Player - This no sew Halloween costume idea can be for your favorite football, baseball, soccer or another favorite sports team player. Most sports fanatics have some kind of team players jersey that can use. Then you can add a pair of sweatpants in a coordinating team color. Football players can use some mascara for the black lines that go under the eyes. For the Baseball players costume they can carry a baseball glove and bat around with them for the best effect. For these DIY Halloween costumes sweat pants can be rolled up and wear knee socks pulled up all the way.

Fisherman - A fishing pole is essential to this type of last minute Halloween costumes, so if you don't have one you will need to borrow a pole or make one. You will need to find a vest that you can poke holes in and not get into trouble. You can then put fishing lure or fish hooks and hang them on the vest. For the best looking fishing vest you will need around 6-10 hooks with 3-5 lures on each side of the vest.

Hobo - Simple quick and easy ideas for Halloween costumes are to try dressing up like a hobo, vagabond or bag lady. Find dirty and wrinkled clothing (you may have plenty of this under your bed already) make several layers of the clothing. You will want a hobo pack to swing over your shoulder for added effectiveness for your Halloween costumes. To take off the stick part of a broom or a rake, just unscrew the handle. Use the wooden handle and a bandana or other material to tie up some junk into the material and put at the end of the stick. You may also want to rub some foundation or powder makeup on your face to resemble dirt.

Lumber Jack - For more cheap and easy last minute Halloween costumes you will need a flannel shirt, red flannel is best, but any will do. Again you will need a wooden handle or a stick from your yard. Get some aluminum foil and make it into the shape of an axe head. Place your aluminum foil axe head on the end of the stick and you have another idea for cheap quickie Halloween costumes.

If all else fails you can go as one of the old standby Halloween costumes - a Ghost. Get permission to use an old sheet and cut eye-holes out so you can see. There you have super easy, super cheap instant Halloween ghost costumes. Just like in the movie, "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown".
