Cheap & Easy Super Bowl Party Food Ideas

A Few Ideas for Your Super Bowl Party Menu

Mike C.
Like many people, having a Super Bowl party every year has become a tradition. Here are a few ideas I've come up with to keep the food menu simple, cheap, and easy.

Queso Dip

Visit the salsa or Mexican food section of your local grocery store and grab a couple packages of white cheese dip. This restaurant-style cheese dip melts easily in the microwave and tastes so good on blue corn chips! You could add browned beef, more cheeses, and salsa to the queso and keep it warm in a crock pot too.

Wings

Fried chicken wings is as easy as dipping them in breader and dropping them in the fryer! Serve them up with celery and blue cheese. For a twist, roll the fried wings around in a couple of your favorite sauces. Have a few choices for everyone.

Chili Dogs

Who doesn't like hot dogs? Better yet, who doesn't like a hot dog smothered in chili, cheese, slaw, and onions? Steam some buns and pair the delicious chili dogs with some chips.

Sliders

Sliders, or mini-burgers, are a classic party snacker! The hand-size burger patties are grilled up and when they're done they fit perfectly into dinner rolls or any small buns. Add some sliced cheese, onion rings, and condiments on top or leave them plain if you want. Serve the sliders with chips.

Cheese Quesadillas with Salsa

Back in the Mexican section of the grocery store, pick up some flour tortillas, salsa, and more cheese. You can really use any sort of cheese for these quesadillas. Once you're ready to cook, place cheese on one half of the tortilla. Fold it over and place it in a skillet with a little melted butter. When the quesadilla is lightly toasted remove it to a serving plate. These are a great crispy treat that can be dipped in salsa.

Chili

Buy a bunch of beef, cans of crushed tomatoes and tomato juice, beans, chili powder packets, an onion, and bell peppers. Brown the beef and throw the ingredients in a pot and simmer. Keep in mind you can add more or less ingredients to your own liking, like more chilies and spices. But nonetheless, cooking chili is just that easy. It can be served on its own with shredded cheese on top, as a dip for tortilla chips, or on hot dogs and hamburgers.
