Cheap Hotel Rooms in Boston

Boston is one of the most expensive cities to live in, and visiting Boston is pretty expense as well. Unless you are going to stay at the Boston YMCA (which costs $36), finding a cheap room can be a tough task. Here are some of my favorite cheap hotel deals in Boston.

The Adams Bed and Breakfast is on Edgerly Road in Boston and runs about $99 a night. It is a very pretty hotel within walking or biking distance to many Boston activities and sites. The rooms do not have some of the amenities of more expensive chains, but there is a common kitchen area for tea and coffee and use of a microwave. They do have breakfast and internet access offer a good rate.

The Howard Johnson Inn Fenway Park is across the street from Fenway Park. Rates start at about $115 a night. There is an onsite pool, internet access and a restaurant. This hotel is not as updated as many of the hotels on this list, but the location is ideal for Red Sox fans or those visiting the Longwood Medical Center and about a mile from Copley Square. They also have parking which is a huge savings in the city.

The Holiday Inn Express Hotel Boston is five miles from Logan International Airport. They have 24 hour airport transport and to Black Falcon Pier. The Holiday Inn has free high speed Internet access, and free local phone calls. The Holiday Inn Express has a breakfast each morning of fruits, juices, cereals, breads, pastries, hardboiled eggs and yummy cinnamon rolls. If you are flying, ask about the" Stay, Park and Fly" package, as they sometimes include complimentary parking. Rates at Holiday Inn start at $152 for advance purchase rate, $180 as a discount rate or flexible stay rate.

The Holiday Inn on McClellan Highway in Boston is one mile from the Logan airport, three miles from downtown Boston, and also has the Stay, Park and Fly Package, which saves you money on parking fees. Rates start at $153. If you are traveling with children, kids eat free at Holiday Inn when accompanied by an adult.

The Ramada on Freeport St in Boston starts at $129 a night and has two restaurants, free continental breakfast, pool, airport shuttle, and pets are allowed. It is four miles from the center of Boston, and is seven miles from the airport.

Hilton Boston Back Bay on Dalton Street has a package that includes a Suite with a king Bed along with a $20 gas card for you to enjoy the sights around town.
