Cheap Last Minute Christmas Gift Ideas

C.B.
If you're a procrastinator, like me, you might have a delay in your Christmas shopping this year. Around the last few days of the countdown till Christmas, you'll probably notice that every store you go into is crowded with procrastinators alike. Most popular items may be out of stock around this time, which may limit you or cause you to run out of gift ideas. Here's a few great Christmas gift ideas, that are no fail, and perfect for just about anyone! Also, they're perfect for the last minute.

-Magazine Subscription.

These are great because they're a gift that keeps coming all year, and these also never run out of stock. You can also find a magazine subscription that suits your gift receiver best! Example: For teen girls, Seventeen Magazine or Cosmo Girl. For teen boys, skateboarding magazines, sports magazines, music magazines, etc. For men: car magazines, sports magazines, etc. For women: All you magazine, Woman's Day Magazine, cosmopolitan, People, or Family Circle. Magazine subscriptions go for as low as $10. Sometimes, even cheaper!

-Quality time.

One of the best gifts that someone can receive is your time. This is a gift that will not go to waste, and no one has to put it away or clean it. What I mean by quality time is movie tickets, concert tickets, tickets for a play, dinner (or gift card to go out to eat), and more.

-A Home-made Coupon Book.

Another great idea that will cost you nothing to make is a special coupon book. I put these in everyone's stockings every year. They make one of the most absolutely perfect gifts for everyone in my family! For my sister-in-law, I make "Babysitting Coupons". These really come in handy any time, and they never expire! Be creative. I also remember to note on these to let me know a day ahead of time. There's nothing wrong with planning ahead of time! For my hubby, I make a "Romantic" coupon booklet. Such as: Coupon for a candlelight dinner, 30 minute back massage, 30 minute foot massage, etc. (He would get these anyways regardless, because he's spoiled) For my parents, I make a coupon booklet that would help anyone out anytime. For example: I'll do your grocery shopping for the day, I'll mow the yard for the day, I'll clean your house for the day, I'll cook dinner for you, etc. You know, instead of letting them do the everyday tasks, do it for them, for their time to relax! This always makes a great gift and favor for anyone. Who wouldn't like these booklets?!

-Anything Edible.

Baked goods always make a great present for anyone. They're cheap to make, never go to waste, and are yummy to eat! Some classic favorites are: Brownies, sugar cookies, chocolate chip cookies, etc. Or you can find out your gift receivers favorite dish and make it for them. Another good idea is to take advantage of cooking ahead, and freeze a prepared meal for someone else. Lasagna, Chili, and cheesy tater tot casserole are always great!

Restaurant gift cards are also a wonderful idea, as well. They're great to get out of the house, and never go to waste. Who doesn't love a free meal?!

Or a great idea would be to purchase ingredients for a favorite dish, maybe include a baking dish, mixing bowl, or utensils, and don't forget to supply the instructions for cooking! These gifts will always be of use to anyone!

-Bath & Lotion gift sets.

These always make a great gift for any woman, or even a man! You can find these gift sets pretty much anywhere- and who doesn't like to be pampered, feel good, and smell good- all at the same time? I love those gift sets that you can find at Walmart or Bath and Body Works around the holidays. The gift sets that include: lotion, shower gel, a sponge, bath salt, manicure sets, body spray, soap, etc. You can find these on sale a lot of the time at Bath and Body works, or you can even find some great smelling ones at Walmart for around or less than $10.
