• Purchase your teenage daughter an iTunes gift card. With a $15 gift card, your teen can go to the iTunes store and purchase more than a dozen songs to listen to on her iPod. This option is great because it is cheap and saves you from buying a CD that would make your daughter's eyes roll.
• Most teen girls love makeup, so head to the makeup aisle at Wal-Mart or Target and pick out a few items. Many cheaper nail polishes run for only a couple of bucks and you can replenish your teen's mascara supply for around $5. Foundation and lipsticks also run for only a few bucks.
• Buy your daughter some hair accessories. Wal-Mart offers cute clips and headbands for around $2 to $3 each and will help your daughter out when she is having a bad hair day.
• Go to Bath and Body Works and check out their sale items. You can usually find an array of antibacterial products and lotions in the smaller size for $3 to $4 each when purchased individually. These items work well because they are small enough to go in your teen's purse or backpack.
• Yankee Candle is also a great option when looking for something inexpensive for your teen girl. Yankee Candle usually has room sprays on sale at 2 for $10 around the holidays and their tarts and votives run for $1 to $1.50 each.
• If your teenage daughter loves to write, then consider buying her a journal so she will have somewhere to reflect on the happenings of her life. Borders offers a variety of different journals for under $10.
• Buy a small photo album for 3 ½ by 5 pictures. You can find one of these at Wal-Mart or Target for $5 or less. Your teen will have a great time filling up the album with everlasting memories.
• Purchase costume jewelry to put in your teenage daughter's stocking. You can find fashionable earrings, bracelets, and necklaces for no more than $3 to $5 each. There are usually a number of stores at the mall that carry these items, as well as discount stores.
