Cheap Thanksgiving Recipes: Traditional Green Bean Casserole

This casserole has been a staple of our family's Thanksgiving dinners for as long as I can remember. Simple and easy to make, this is among my favorite inexpensive Thanksgiving recipes.

Ingredients

Serves 8
3 cans green beans (I like a mix of cut green beans and French style)
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
1 cup milk
1/2 cup cheddar cheese
1/2 tsp celery salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 large can French's Onions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

In a large bowl, mix mushroom soup, milk and cheddar cheese and seasonings together.

Stir in green beans until completely coated.

Pour mixture into a large casserole dish.

Top with French's Onions and spread evenly to cover.

Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until onions are golden brown and crispy.
