I bet you didn't know it, but there are lots of simple and inexpensive ways to turn your bathroom into a Christmas-themed loo! All it takes is a little creative energy and a lot of holiday spirit! Here are 10 ideas that you can pick and choose from (heck, you can use all 10!) that will make your bathroom stand out in this years Christmas crowd!

Number 1: Fake snow

Didn't think it could be that simple, did you? You can purchase aerosol cans of "snow" pretty much anywhere - Target, Wal-Mart, craft stores, etc. The key with this stuff is to not go overboard. With the nozzle a few inches away from the surface, gently spray a boarder around the edge of your mirror and any windows.

Number 2: Christmas smells

Purchase a candle (or two) that screams Christmas! There are lots of seasonal scents available (try Yankee Candle) such as Christmas cookie, pine, cinnamon, bayberry, etc. Place the candle in a either a clear jar or a jar that's got some holiday flavor!

Number 3: Nativity scene

This is a great idea if you've got the extra room! If you have two sinks, place a nativity scene in between the two. Depending on the nativity set, place either straw underneath the figurines, or something a little more festive (like green and red tinsel).

Number 4: Hang a wreath!

You can make your own wreath if you've got crafty-genes, or you can buy one that is already made and ready to hang! You can place it wherever you wish - on the outside/inside of the door, above the sink/toilet. Wherever it looks best in your space!

Number 5: Christmas towels/rugs/shower curtains

You can buy hand towels/bath towels/rugs at a very low price pretty much anywhere that sells home goods. Choose the design that speaks to you the loudest and place the towels/rugs wherever you feel is best in your particular bathroom. You can also purchase Christmas themed shower curtains, or curtains that fit with the Christmas theme (such as solid green, red, etc.).

Number 6: Holiday soap!

You can either purchase a soap pump or soap dish with a holiday theme (again, very cheap at most home-goods stores). Soap is also very inexpensive and you will be able to find a holiday scent without much difficulty. Try Bath and Body Works for some really great-smelling products! (You can also buy a lotion pump and do the same thing).

Number 7: Mistletoe

Mistletoe is always a cute and fun surprise! Hang some right above the sink or even the toilet. These are places where everyone stands and they are bound to chuckle!

Number 8: Garland

Use Christmas garland wherever you can! You can use it around the windows, around the door, around the mirror. You can even use it to tie back curtains or around the soap dish/pump!

Number 9: Christmas Cards

You're bound to receive a plethora of beautiful Christmas cards this season so why not put them on display? You can place these on a shelf or even in between sinks if you have two of them. Prop them up so they are standing!

Number 10: Poinsetta

Nothing screams "happy holidays" louder that Poinsetta! You can purchase a Poinsetta plant at most flower shops and supermarkets. They last for a great deal of time, come in various shades of crimson and are beautiful to look at!

BONUS idea

Don't forget Christmas twinkly lights! You can get these very inexpensively and a little goes a long way. Try a simple white/clear twinkly light garland!
