Cheapest Oil Change in Muscatine Iowa
Muscatine Has Several Options for Getting Your Oil Changed: Many More Expensive Than Others
ExpertTire
Oil Change: $27.49
Tire Rotation: $20.00
ExpertTire in Muscatine, located in the nearly dead Muscatine Mall, is one of the most expensive places on the list. An oil change at ExpertTire costs the same as eating Burger King five times! There was little remarkable about their location, or their service either.
Master Auto Care - Best Value
Oil Change: $16
Tire Rotation: Included
With it's recent change in management, Master Auto Care in Muscatine has been offering the best deal in town for a few months. While this comes at a price, it may be worth it. Master is located on the same block as the Muscatine Mall and ExpertTire, but the difference is that Master is nearly always busy, and wait times may be dreadful. But the benefit is saving between $20-$30 per visit.
Grosjeans Tire & Service
Oil Change: $24.95
Tire Rotation: $20.00
Though not the least expensive place in town, Grosjeans does have a nice location for shopping. Considering Grosjeans is right along the mississippi, and only a few blocks from the downtown shopping district, they might be the perfect choice for someone needing to get some shopping done and an oil change when in a hurry.
Wal-Mart
Oil Change: $18.88
Tire Rotation: $6.00
Wal-Mart's slogan is not "Always the low price" like it used to be in some stores, just "always low prices, always." While their price is low, and perfect for the person needing to do their grocery shopping while getting their oil changed, money can be saved by going elsewhere.
Valvoline
Oil Change: $28.99
Tire Rotation: Unknown
Even though Valvoline's specialty is oil and oil changes, their Vrice seriously undercuts their specialist value. Master Auto Care, a name that's been in Muscatine for years, beats their price by a mile, and valvoline can be easily skipped over when deciding where to change your oil.
Doing research beforehand is key to getting an oil change (and for buying anything else). Oil changes are simple, and anyone with a little training can perform one in as little as fifteen minutes, but some service companies may take advantage of the rushed individuals who have not compared these prices.
