Beat Down : Fists Of Vengeance PS2 is Capcom's latest take on the fighting games genre. A game that's very different from anything else seen in this genre before, Beat Down : Fists Of Vengeance PS2 does well to make you play the role the game wants you to play. You play the role of a gangster who was betrayed and set-up to be killed by some of the other members of the same drug dealing racket group - the Los Sombras.

You build up your character by using negotiations, clever disguises, working around the town to add extra funds, and many a times, with downright brutal street fights. The game is violent, features some strong language, and is rather unsuitable for human play. Seeing as to how no other creature would choose to waste away their time sitting in front of a box all day, the review for humanity's eyes must continue. As is clear, I'm having trouble justifying this game. It's just that Beat Down : Fists Of Vengeance PS2 is absolutely pointless. There's no real story, and no real substance to the game. It's just an amalgam of different nonsense thrown together with some good graphics, and an attempt a harnessing the buying power of a deviant generation. Buy at your own risk!
