Cheating: Why Cheaters Are Stupid or Why Not to Cheat for Dummies
I won't ever get caught-
Yeah, right! Don't they know somewhere; somehow, they will be caught. It may not be today or tomorrow, but it will happen. Someone, somewhere will see them together. The world is too populated, for a person not to be eventually found out. All it takes is one stupid word to a co-worker when you're in a bragging mood, one lie you told your spouse that you forgot about, one little piece of paper with your fling's number on it, one slip of the tongue when your in bed with your spouse instead of your lover. Yes, it would almost be impossible not to somehow slip up. Good luck, you're going to need it, because guess what stupid? you will slip up and get caught!
My spouse will forgive me-
Well, maybe you're right, MAYBE they will forgive you if you're the luckiest idiot in the world, but guess what? your Spouse will NEVER, EVER forget. If you are among the very few that get to keep their marriage, (Not me, you would be gone in a heartbeat), you will suffer over, and over again, until you feel like you would rather be in hell. Actually, it's kind of like being in hell. So, smarty-pants, you think it's going to be smooth sailing? Get ready for the Storm of The Century!
We Won't Get Divorced-
What planet do you live on? One of the biggest causes for divorces is infidelity. On top of that, good luck with trying to see your kids. This may be modern times, but guess what a lot of those judges are old folk like me, and they don't see cheating as a really good example fro kids. Chances are your spouse will get full custody of the kids, and then you can spend your days begging for visits with them. If you're really lucky, maybe they won't have to be supervised visits. Oh by the way genius, if you take up with or marry the person you cheated with, you may not see your kids until their18. Of course after you hurting their other parent so much, they may never want to see you again. Guess you won't have to worry about buying any Christmas and Birthday gifts then will you? You have to be pretty stupid to think cheating won't hurt your kids, their relationship with you, and their future.
I won't Catch Anything-
Good luck! You will need it. This is the dumbest assumption of all to make. I know the one your cheating with, is so nice looking and clean they couldn't possibly have any diseases. I believe even kids in elementary school know better than that. Even if you use protection it doesn't guarantee 100% you won't catch anything. Then there's
the real intelligence it takes to go home and sleep with your spouse and expose them to it. How brilliant, you and your spouse may end up with aids, and then you can leave your kids with NO parent at all. Well, you know what they say; you might as well kill two birds with one stone. I don't know, I think herpes is my favorite, after all you don't die, you're just miserable your whole life and have to explain to every potential partner that you have it. I wonder how many people would be game for that one. Yes, I guess you must have some intelligence, after all you figured out the easiest and best way to contract the most popular diseases.
She Won't Get Pregnant-
Boy you are stupid. Guess what? Guess how many women who cheat with men get tired of waiting for you guys to leave your spouse, and accidentally on purpose get pregnant? Now I don't want to make you paranoid, but being as stupid as you already are to cheat in the first place, perhaps I should suggest you check those condoms for holes, every single time. Yeah, there's nothing like walking on eggshells to kill the mood. Even if she does nothing on purpose, you can read right? WARNING: Condoms are not 100% foolproof against STD's or Pregnancy! I'm assuming you're at least bright enough to read.
If I get pregnant He'll Stand By Me-
Wait a minute until I stop laughing. Okay, guess what honey, he's not married to you, he's married to her, and chances are the only thing he'll stand by is you at the abortion clinic. Of course he could be like the percentage of men that say "It's your problem, not mine". Even if in the realm of possibility this man stands by you, and you have the baby, and he helps to support it, do you have any idea what it's going to be like to have his wife in your life? That's a hell you don't want to go to.

4. Many groups of people are able to handle open-sexuality or alternate sexual lifestyles.
Polyamorous, Swingers, polygamous groups, open-marriages, open-relationships, etc...
Many people are under the foolish impression that there is only 1 style of having a relationship that fits all people and that all people must be forced to follow a certain style. And this is very much not the case.
The problem is that Hannah is way, way too naive.
1. People DO get away with cheating.
A. Cheating can be a 1 night stand, which there is no to very little evidence of.
B. The Cheater CAN be very smart or clever. Where they understand their spouse or boyfriend/girlfriend very well. And/or the person they are cheating with, HELPS them to AVOID getting caught.
C. The spouse or boyfriend/girlfriend may NOT even suspect cheating.
2. Cheating and sexual promiscuity are arguably HUMAN NATURE.
Cheating is ALL OVER the animal kingdom, including humans.
In other words, monogamy is RARE. Having MULTIPLE SEXUAL PARTNERS is VERY COMMON.
Attempts to religiously legislate sexual behavior has ALWAYS FAILED to stop cheating and promiscuity.
3. Being unrealistic about human sexuality and human nature, arguably shows ignorance, emotional immaturity, and foolishness.
Often the emotionally immature are the most jealous, selfish, or controlling.

Sigh: Perhaps being a retired counselor who counseled couples, as well as a relationship coach now, perhaps I am more aware than you, about what goes on with cheaters. One doesn't have to be a serial killer to know they're really sick, messed up people!

Only stupid dumb people get caught when they cheat. I have been cheating on my husband off and on for over 20 years. Never got caught once. If you use your head pick the right person and set the ground rules in the beginning it is easy not to get caught. For example make sure you pick someone who no one you know knows or anyone they know knows and don't let anyone know you know each other you elimate the problem of someone slipping and telling on you. When I cheat I am happier and therefore my husband is happier what he doesn't know won't hurt him. Not all of us are stupid.
Your a smart and an amazing woman. Being faithful is the most beautiful gift you can give to the one you love. People who do not recognize this are stupid.
