Rowan Cabarrus Community College (RCCC) is actually located in 2 counties, Rowan and Cabarrus. They have a campus in each county with the main campus in Rowan County. Both are very easy to get to, each being off of the Interstate 85. They are only about 25 minutes away from each other using the Interstate which makes it easy to get to the other campus if you want to take a class there. Sometimes they offer classes at one campus during a semester and not the other, so you can go to the other campus to take that class if you need to.

The campus offers many different classes in many different subjects they have everything from computer classes, law enforcement classes to Motorsport classes for NASCAR. You can get an Associated Degree there, certifications, diploma's, GED's and training for many of the businesses around the campus.

If you are considering continuing your education you can take some classes that are short term classes that will give you training for different jobs, such as medical office, human resource, computer classes. The nice thing about these classes is that they are once a week and you don't have to purchase textbooks. This is short term training if you are looking for a different career.

Rowan Cabarrus Community College offers Motorsports courses, where students learn how to work on race cars, and learn how to manage a shop for a NASCAR or any other car team. They offer many different courses in Motorsports Management. This is really a great opportunity for students looking to have a career in motorsports, not only does Rowan Cabarrus Community College offer all the courses, many of the NASCAR drivers have shops located in the Concord, Charlotte area and also one of the Racetracks, Lowes Motor Speedway is less than 10 miles from the college.

Like many other colleges the community college will allow you to transfer credit to continue your education at a 4 year university. They also offer many online classes so you can take them when you can, which helps working parents schedule classes. They also have many summer classes available. All year long you can choose day or evening classes, they also have classes on Saturdays for some subjects these are mostly for the telecourses.
