Frankly when I first saw the sign go up in a newly built strip center I filed it away thinking it was a place I would likely never visit.

The more I drove past the place, the more curious I got. A Cereal Bar? What in the heck was a cereal bar? It turned out to be exactly what you would think it is. It is a place where you can go to get just about any variety of cold or hot cereal you can think of. If you want to mix cereals, you are encouraged to indulge yourself. They even give you a selection of milk to put on your cereal, including regular, skim, soy, and even chocolate.

Frankly the idea of chocolate milk on my Raisin Bran or Corn Flakes, just doesn't work for me, but to each his own.

Not only does The Cereal Bar offer the cereal you would expect from a place with such a name, but you can get pastries too. Pasties like muffins, to scones, to coffee cake, and sweetbread.

The Cereal Bar in The Colony, also features Smoothies, you can choose from their signature combinations, or make up one of your own.

If you are in the mood for something with caffeine The Cereal Bar also has plenty in the way of coffee drinks, Espresso, Cappuccino, lattes, frozen coffee drinks of various flavors, and even coffee. The Cereal Bar does not believe in ai pots they constantly make fresh coffee frequently.
