Checking Out the Competition
A Conversation Between the Owners of Club Poison.. Michelle and Felicity
Michelle: *So this was the little lounge she had heard about. The discussions between herself and Filly had her thinking of a place somewhat seedy, but this place had class. Missy would give it that much. One sculpted brow arched delicately above her flawless complexion, thanks to the makeup, though her skin was not horrible, she preferred the illusion of appearing younger than her years. Black satin, held onto those curves as if melted to her flesh. While peach colored lips parted to exhale the thin stream of smoke, allowing it to curl to the skies. The firepit caught her attention, very artfully crafted. Though envy burned through her veins. The women needed to talk, and this place would at least give them the cover away from the club. The straps of those black heeled sandals wrapped up toned calves to the knee, which could be seen through the slit in the dress. Stepping inside, she allowed the door man to take her black wrap, with a wink. "Don't get anything on it, or wrinkle it.. Luv.." The look in her eyes though, showed that she was not playing when saying those words. Fashionably late, of course, had her looking to Felicity, whom did not look comfortable left waiting. Long legs carried her toward her counterpart, and she seated herself. "You always take me to the nicest places.. " A soft smile playing on her lips while she crossed her legs and leaned back. One toned arm stretching along the back of the booth they were seated within. The cigarette still burning between her fingers, only to be slowly drug to her lips for a lazy drag every now and again.*
Felicity: - Yes this was the lounge the one and only and Felicity was already feeling the girls would have to step up thier antics if they wanted to out do this place. It had been around for fourty some years now and seemed to be picking up in business instead of going down like most. She was spotting the men here and there that came to thier establishment too so that had to mean they were doing good. " What can I say your not a cheap date and I like to spoil you. " Winking as she saw Missy entering. " I think we got somethings to talk about. " Doing a little motion around her in that moment mentioning the club without really saying what it was that they needed to discuss, There were the revenues for last month as well the girls had picked up since the Giovanni and De Lucca requiest for women at the coming party for thier returning Brother. Tongue peeked out to moisten the lower sanguine lip in thought as she tried to figure if she should pull some of the girls from the club that night or call on some of thiers in hiding. " Here.. " Slipping her the money in check form across the table for her share of the income from the club both girls liked to use thier own way of fitting things. SO it all looked legal like and perfect. " And is it even possible to smile that much?" Motioning to the hostess Irish whom was walking around talking and greeting several of the big boss men.
Michelle: * The laughter deep and husky tumbled from lips at Felicity's words.. "Well that's for sure, I don't think anyone has to worry about me being a cheap date.. " As she motioned to the club, Missy nodded and leaned forward now, captuing her jaw in her hand, looking at Filly. "Politely put, this place is somewhat of a threat, and we need to step up the act." They both knew the income was one that they enjoyed. The perfectly manicured nails of her hand moving lightly over her own cheek. "Filly, are you going to the gathering this evening.. I was even thinking about making an appearance myself." Ice blue eyes, glanced from the check to Felicity's face to see her reaction, before Michelle's hand left her own cheek to slide the check into her small side purse. Sliding out an envelope herself, and sliding it under the table resting it on Filly's lap. This was the cash from Arm Candy, the unrecordable income. Therefore no bank accounts, savings accounts, nothing accept a simply ledger she kept herself for her and Filly. "Yours.. Tit for tat." A secret grin, for how true those words were. A wave of her hand as she motioned over a girl, while the glamerous grinning gal who ran the place was off flirting with some old bafoon, but who could blame her. "Hello hunny, I need a nice deep red wine, with an attitude.. " Then she motioned to Filly who might want something.*
Felicity: - There was a shake of her head and laughing. " Only the best.. like I said. " she shifted when thier imported wine showed a nice merlot that was made of blackberries it was sweet and dark much like the women. There was that sweet aspect about them they sure had thier clients fooled till it came time to deal with business then the tigresses seemed to be all for it. "I know... I have seen it I don't like it to much. I got a new girl Nikki and a singer that applied for an interview at the club Dani. I think you might like other than that. I'm open for suggestions. " Pulling herself from Missy's grip. " And only do that to me if your going to kiss me. " Slapping her hand lightly. " I swear I see you in black leather if I think of a bedroom. " Smirking lightly. "sorry I went to order for both of us. Just replace her merlot with the red wine. " taking her own then and shifting to slip the money from her leg into the purse. Some may think the way the girls acted at times they were lovers. But, they were just really good friends best friends and both knew what they wanted and when they wanted it. Shifting in her seat now she took a pull of drink from that glass. " mmm damn... its even good. Better than what I have for those cheap bastards at the bar..
Michelle: *A wave of her hand at the girl.. "No leave the Merlot, It is fine." Fingers wrapped around the stem of the crystal wine glass raising it to her lips. "A new singer hmm?" That idea brought new prospects. They needed to spruce things up some. "She cute enough for Candy?" Sadly they needed some new girls for the escort service, the girls they had were all either getting too comfortable with the money, and a little too curvy, or they were getting too involved with the customers. That was bad for business. Never get involved with them, if you intend to keep working. "I will check out the singer with you, when is she coming in?" Missy had noted however that Felicity had ignored the question about the gathering tonight. It was a Monday, not one of the busy nights of the club, but who knew. Maybe someone would go out lookin for poison tonight. "Maybe we should find out who her supplier is, of this wine. Never had a merlot this sweet. I like it." A wink to her remark about kissing. "Sorry hun, these lips were meant to be dominated, and you don't strike me as the dominent type." Of course it was a simple joke. Missy had decided early on in her life, that a true relationship was not for her. She never dreamed of the picket fence, or the two and a half kids and a dog. No, it wasn't her style, and that is what led her here.*
Felicity: -Seeing she kept the merlot made Filly smile those long legs crossed and she leaned back. " Very much Eye candy material and she's young. Just turned twenty-one everybit a vibriant one you know how those older men are though she might be a bit tricky to pull into the group she's actually not dumb like some of these others. " Shaking her head as she watched and heard the comments there was a sigh that parted her lips showing she was completely disappointed a pout." Aww and there I thought I had found my hetero lifemate... " grinning then as she started sipping the drink. " I have to double check it with Giovanni but, I believe we are on tonight I have to make sure. " she hadn't meant to be kind of out of it but, her job had been a little demanding of late with replacing girls with making some work like they should and others work less. Letting some of them go and who the hell was Missy kidding they both knew that Filly cracked the whip when she needed to and hard.. damn hard. Probably what made her so damn irresistable to the men and women that came into Poison. Nodding. " I think you should pretend article agian and see what you can scrounge up." it helped that Missy could pull off those actions.
Michelle: *A nod, as she raised her glass to her best friend. "To business adventures.." The voice smoothed by the wine, while she brought it to her lips, finally taking another drink. "I will make certain to do an article, and get attention for Rocco since he is getting out. Which girls were you thinking of sending if we are still on. I think Chance, Linx, and Tiff would be good. I can't remember how many girls they needed, do you?" They had both been bogged down. The whales of Vegas had been more demanding as of late, making them spread the girls thin. Yet it paid well, and the prospect of having more than one girl interested in joining would be nice. It would also be a welcome retreat to have a girl with a brain, instead of some of the twits they had. If the men just wanted something to look pretty, they could offer than, if they wanted brains, they were scraping the bottom of the barrel. The wine was drained, as the glass set aside, and she glanced to the diamand wrist watch. That was the first ever splurge she had purchased after hitting it off with Arm Candy. Ah the good times.*
Felicity: - Raising her glass in toast she smiled. " To business ventures." sulty and dulcet tone came from Filly in a soft purr. "Hmmm damn thats good.. " Eyeing the wine glass before her as if it was a surprised find and it actually was before shifting those blues back to Missy. " I had a better idea tonight. anyone that is anyone will be there tonight Missy. Why don't we take ourselves this round. " that was Filly for you always thinking of connections and how to better themselves " And lets face it Linx isnt' as sleek as she use to be not to mention I think she's attached to Giano.. That one business man something we need to talk to her about. Tiff is one we let go and Chance could be our third unless we take one of the others. " She brushed her hair back and turned hands smoothed that emerald dress to her form. " I am not comfortable leaving our girls alone in a room of expensive men and half of them out to have more than a good time tonight. " That was the truth she knew that Rocco would be getting out the men would try to put aside thier differences long enough tonight to make thier brother happy. "I say we take several others and perhaps... see if we can't wiggle in thatnew singer and the new dancer. But, that might not be tonight. But I definately think we need to make our prescence known I don't want these men thinking they can take us for a ride...
Michelle: * Listening intently, the bright eyes glittered. It would be nice to play dress up, and flaunt around a bit. Well they didn't flaunt.. They just knew they looked good, it was what kept alot of the men coming back. Personal requests had to be turned away more often then not. "I agree, how about we go.. I say we bring a couple of the girls, and let them move around. I doubt the men will mind, besides, when was the last time Rocco had any?" Her deep laughter could be heard once more. Firelight reflected the honey in that hair, as her eyes matched the essence of ice. "Though we should dress to kill, since the men do deal with us. Truthfully, we have not even had the honor of meeting our prized clientel face to face. Why not let it be tonight. "They both had spoken to the men over the phone multiple times, to set up for appointments, and other ventures. Yet neither had stopped to greet them formally. "Tonight looks to be rather enjoyable."
Felicity: - Softly laughing her feline glint in those crystal blues shifted over Missy. " thinking the same thing I'm thinking I see." her hands curled down over the dress pulling the short skirt over those long legs that had earned her that nickname when the women were dancers at the same club. One thing Filly didn't miss... the poles. She knew she could pull it off without them now and that that no touch policy really meant no touching. Noone wanted to piss off the women with thier connections to not just the Giovanni's but the De Lucca's as well. There was a thought though as she looked over to the woman Irish was her name wandering around to the men. " She will be there tonight. This is Rocco's place... I know she will and I hate to say it but, that is another reason I know we should be there. " She didn't know much about Irish and wanted to make sure this was the only level of competition the women would have to have agianst anyone in atleast the club scene. "Indeed it's time to get a little closer with our clientel.. " With that she would shift the subject. " So shopping then?" Tonight sounded as though it might be a royal blast and had been along time since either of the women had one of those.
